I realize this whole scam is really screwed but the nintendo she wanted was only a few hundred dollars. Also I'm sure the store would take it back if it hadn't been used?? And as far as the police, they really should have some sort of department to deal with these ponzy schemes because they are rampant and the people that get caught in this aren't idiots, they're just aren't as jaded as most. We all hope for good things to happen to us in life, unfortunately these jerks think they're entitled too!! Best wishes of the season to all and hopes for better things to come in the New Year.

Once scammed, criminals will often return for another sting. They will try to get you to continues sending money, or pose as someone who says (for a fee) they will get your money back. All fake. I am sorry to tell you that 100% of all job offers by fax, text, or email are fake, all of them. The giveaway is usually salary and benefits.  Always use the internet, & search everything about any job offer. Names, phone numbers, address',etc. Many times you'll find that the address does not exist.

Good Morning,

So sorry for not getting back to you on time, we've been so busy with our relocation. I was contacted by my associate (Mariya A.) that the games payment for Derick has been mailed to you yesterday, you should receive it before the end of next week.

Please confirm you receive this message and you're waiting for the payment, also let me know the moment you receive the payment , to be sure things are going as planned.

Important: I'm very sorry to inform you that we went to buy our flight tickets yesterday but the earliest seats we got was December 14th. i know you won't be happy hearing this but we're as sad as you can be for not been able to make it over there on time as planned, but the most important is we got our tickets yesterday and 14th of December is intact.

Because of the delay with our coming and believe that you will be waiting for us, we have decided to give you a week pay when we meet to compensate you on waiting for 2 more weeks for us.

Waiting to hear from you.

Thanks"

i have not yet responded and don't intend to do so ....

Hi,

I just contacted my associate and she accepted the fact that she was the one that misunderstood me concerning the instruction I gave to her as regards the amount she was supposed to send to you for the games. I am very sorry for his mistake.

Actually she was supposed to send just money for the games to you and send the rest of the money to us for our properties shipment from Mexico to Canada.

It would have been the best to send it back and have my associate send the correct amount, but she's presently in London on vacation with his family, that's why i want you to go ahead and  deposit the cheque and deduct the money for the games and $50 for your transport to buy the games, then let me know the balance after.

Waiting to hear from you soon.

Thanks

I am in Ontario and I have revived all these emails. I got a money order from "Andrea" today and went to te bank. the teller could tell it was fake right away. they send you a fake money order so you spend it and send the rest to them. which leaves you with a negative amount in your account... HUGE SCAM. I'm pissed.

I am out 1400 dollars with a DS that will at least get used. I can barely feed my husband and I. It seemed so legit and I was so desperate for a job I didn't see it. I wish I hadn't been so eager not to see the signs. And the police are no help and pretty much called me an idiot to my face

I did as well.
I got the job. Everything seemed legit because they said they bought a house down the road from me. I actually checked out the house, and it was for sale, and had a sold sign on it. They asked me to buy a DS for their son. They sent me a cheque, and I cashed it. Unfortunately for me, I am now down 1400 dollars as they "sent too much". and I sent them the extra back since I am a nice person. The money order did not go through. Only then did I do my research, and found out they are fakes.

Hi,

I perfectly understand the position you chose to work for my family and it's perfectly okay with us. We will be paying you at the end of every week in cash or bank transfer. this is a long term job but you can work for short period of time if you choose to do so. We will arrive on the 30th of this month but you can start working with us any day after we arrive and if possible we will like to meet with you once we arrive over there on the 30th of this month so we can introduce you to our son properly. We are relocating to: 18026 68TH AV Surrey, BC V3S 8C3

Our boy have no allergies and don't need any special care, he's just a normal loving kid and very active. I want you to also know that we have two little Chihuahua dogs. It doesn't matter if you like Dogs or not because they will not be in your care and they will always be their cage, i'm just telling you to know that we have dogs and they are both adorable. Derick will start home schooling early next year, but that will not affect your work with him.

I want you to please go and price (1 Nintendo 3DS XL system, with 3 different Games price) at any games store in your area or you can also get the games prices online. I need them because i really want to surprise Derick by getting him what his been disturbing me for in a big surprising way, by you present the games to him as his welcome to Canada gift on our first meeting. i suppose to have bought the games for him here, but i want to make it a surprise package for him when we get over there and for him to quickly get use to you.

Please make sure you get back to me with the prices of the game system and the 3 games, so I can arrange how the money will get over to you as soon as possible.

Thanks

She say she investor in Mexico and relocating to canada. Arriving Nov 30,2013. Asking me to buy nintendo 3 DS XL and 3 games. Will send me the money so that I can buy for her. She given me the address. After buying the DS ,have not heard from her.

Unfortunately I know someone who already sent this woman the money order electronically.  Do you know if there is any way to cancel it before she gets it?  Will this scammer have access to the banking information from this transfer?

They will use you in money laundering. They are involved in drugs.. I know because i experienced it and i easily detected and stop it. They will transfer money in your bank acct and ask you to send this money in moneygram or western union in mexico. Well they will give a little bit for something to buy for their boy. And the next day they will ask you again to buy something and will send money to your bank scct but in return you have to send it to mexico..

Well, I got this same message when I let them know the price of the Nintendo game.   However, I did not give them any
address for the Money Order but told them that I would take the cash from them when they arrive here in Surrey, Can ada on 30th November.   Seems like they will be at different places on 30th Nov. as they have sent emails to baboysitters at Alberta, Toronto and Surrey?

I cannot believe you already purchased the Nintendo.   Can you not return it to the Store?   I sincerely hope you have kept the receipt and will get your money back from the Store.  I was also asked to buy and found that it is in the price range of $300 and they said to send my full address so that they can send the Money Order.  I told them that I would take the cash from them when we meet in Surrey, Canada.

Why don't you google the address - 7878 - 184th Street, Surrey, and you will be surprised to see that it is a vast
farmland with absolute no houses.  I pray that no one who is desperate for a job at $19/hr will be stupid enough
to buy the NINTENDO and go alone to this deserted place.   Please inform the Police at Langley about these
people so that no one is harmed or killed by them.  Thank  you.
