Got several calls from 778 329 0347 and 604 687 4559.  Both of these say they're calling about an important business matter.  The message repeats 2 or 3 times and the line goes dead.  Calling them back gets no answer.  These numbers appear to belong to CBV Collection Services Ltd in Calgary and also in Vancouver their TOLL FREE  number is 1-888-311-1121.  I haven't been able to get anyone to answer this line yet.  They ask you to leave a message and then hang up.  The annoying thing is that I don't have any outstanding debts.  The next step is my lawyer and the Better Business Bureau.


CONFIRMED:  778 329 0347 and 604 687 4559 are for CBV Collection Services Ltd.  They can be reached at the 604 687 4559 number.  I just got off a call with them and they were looking for someone else. (last name LAW)

When I told them that I had never heard of that person and that I have lived at this address and had my phone number for well over 5 years, they said that they would remove my number from the system.

We'll see what happens.

I Just got this call a few mins ago they tell you to press 3 if yuo don't know the perosn and want yuor name romoved from the list. i clicked 3 and next thing you no there calling me again!

I just called the 1800 no. just to be hung up on.  But when I called the other no. 604 687 4559  I pressed 0 right away she asked for my phone no. and I t was the wrong person.  She said she would remove my number from the list.

I got a call too, I called back and they asked me  my name and I gave it to them, then they asked me to verify my birthdate and Social Insurence No. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFO!! They are NOT a collection agancy!
I told her that I do not give out personal information over the phone she said ok not a problem I can verify it by asking you is your birthday year Dec XX 1988? I said No, she said hmm that is weird are you sure? I said yes, she then asked me if my social insurence number was 645 XXX 068? I said No because it isn't and she said well it must be the wrong person... I said why would you tell me this person with the same name's Birthdate and social no? She said it was to confirm.. I said well now I have their info!! Geezz.. A real collection agency does not look up people in the phone book and call or give out others personal information!!!

At least 2X a day I receive a call from 687-4559.  Usually it is a taped message "This is an important message" or I answer and the phone is dead.
This is very annoying to say the least.

Any advice? How do you get someone with harrassment?? thanx for any info

i received a call from them too probably around 120 x's I did owe $$ but i made a settlement payment and paid it.
still get the calls any advice what I can do?? They guaranteed me that the calls would end after I paid the debt. I am almost ready to go on antidepresants due to the harrassment.

Total idiots who can't get it right- harrass me because previous owner of the number owes money. Working hard at making a case qagainst them- i could use the money ;)
