I got a call at like 5 in the morning, they asked me if i knew who they were? All i could do was yell at them and hang up. They sounded like a Hindu.

This number calls several times a day.  When I answer it hums, so I quit answering.  I pinpointed it as being in Chilliwack downtown.  That's all I can get from the reverse numbers people.  Can't B.C. Tel do something about this?

They called this morning (it's Saturday!) around 8, so they woke me up. He said something in a really thick accent, like "Hello Sister", so I told him he had a wrong number and he said "No no no no no! Wait! I just have to tell you..." so I hung up. This is probably the nine hundredth time they've called me. I think that everyone who's gotten a call from this number needs to ask the person on the line to put them on the DNC list. They have 31 days to put you on the list, and if they call you again within a three year period after that date, they can have really hefty fines imposed on them. CRTC? I think that's what it's called, they have a lot of information about telemarketing and rules on their website. Hope it helps.

Got this phone call twice. This is not a good thing, will not answer when I speak to them.

My daughter has a friend who went to UFV here, he keeps calling and whenever he calls this 604-792-3779 number shows in my caller id.  Sometimes, he says it is not him it must be a telemarketer, I do not know what to believe anymore.  Sometimes it rings at weird times of the day and when I pick it up it hangs up.

I think this number is a testing or loop line. Some telemarketing company might use this as their fake caller ID number, because it doesn't actually exist. That would also explain the inability to block the number, and the humming sound at the number.

It's Christmas eve, I just go the call with no message. What a pain

I totally got this call, google map says that they live off of young road. I called back and it's just this BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP

This number is contacting my phone as well.  When I answer there is a hang up, it calls at least 4 - 5 times a day and it's really annoying.  When I call it back all I get is a hum like it's blocked.  It comes in as "Private"

One call last night, no answer, and wouldn't hang up, and another one 9 am this morning, when I answered it was like I called a number that was not in service.

They left me a message.  It was Shaw Cable...310-Shaw.

i just got one at 7.15am  i tried to dial it but got nothing

I got a call from this number at 3:30am this morning
It called twice in a row.
Pretty annoying
I tried to call back, said the number wasn't completed as dialed..

I got a call in chilliwack , when i call back it just hums.

I think it may be a cell tower.... calls into other areas may get bounced from here.  I work in Surrey and live in Chilliwac, if someone from work calls my cell or home, this is what my call display shows.

I've been getting the phone call too.  I think it might just be Telus.

Ok Guys this dude is right but my friend called me from out of country so im guessing its just what shows up when there isnt a number it can read or something but man was i lost i even asked them to hang out today

ok someone just caled me from this number and i talked to them about someones bday and asked if they wanted to hang out thinking it was a friend and i didnt wanna ask who it was incase it was someone i know well and maybe upset them little.Could it maybe be like a number that shows up when you try n block ur number from showing up on caller ID?

it's most likely someone calling from skype.

I am so tired of getting calls from this number.  I tried calling it and it either says the number is not in service or the number is not available.  What ever happened to our privacy with our phone numbers?  I almost want to get rid of my landline because of this. They don't have the guts to display their name and are rude enough to stay on the line when I say hello. R they robbers?

I think this may be a number that shows up instead of the persons actual number.  the reason is my best friend recently got vonage voip home phone service, this service is ip based and communicates witha  server over the internet to talk with the analog phone system most homes and cellphones use.  

this number was bothering me until i actually managed to answer it, and it was my buddy, phoning from hia vonage voip phone. since i was relieved, and had started my search here on the net,  i thought id share my results.

so again that number is 604-792-3779 and it appears to be an outbound calling number used by vonage voip.

Well when i got home on tuesday after work, I was a little bit upset because of the huge traffic jam and punjabi dump truck drivers driving so god damn slow. Lucky for me i had my mickey mouse travel mug in my purple blazer that i bought from rob that was actually in the shop the other day because i had too get some front end work done on it, it was making a funny noise, i checked my caller ID and it said i had 4 missed calls while i was at work, i figured it was probley MJ or Blane calling about the shoot i had with him that night, and MJ needed me to pick her up because she didnt want to take the bus.

Suprisingly enough there was a call missed from the number 604-792-3779... strange, i thought to myself... as i paused my paul mcartney DVD antholigy that i bought from ryan at work for 25 bucks, *he wanted 30 for it :-) I tried to call the number back! there was no respone, so i figured it was a wrong number. WRONG! they called back the next day and i was actually home because i was feelin all hot sweaty and sick! I picked up my donald duck cordless phone and said drew here, NO RESPONSE?!
anyways i just decided to look it up on google and i found this.

Ok, I finally figured it out, as far as I can tell it is Shaw Cable.  I don't know why they are/were calling constantly, but the couple of times when the call came through and I've gotten a person on the other end, it was in fact Shaw Cable.

Is this a scam

I'm also getting this number calling me several times a day.  It also calls my home number.  Same thing, if I answer, no one is there, and if I call it back, I get beeps and a recorded message saying the number is incorrect.  Call block does not work because it says it is a multi party line or business.

call every 2-3 days, no message, hang up, cannot call this number back, nor can it be call blocked. A solid tone when you call back, and call block declares it as out of the service area and cannot be blocked.
