He try pulling the same thing in me. Wanted my email for paypal payment. Good thing I decided to back track this number.

OMG... I so glad i looked into this scammer's number.  I posted an add on Craig list for a water softener system just yesterday.  This scammer texted me and seemed very interested and said he woudl pay the full price and would take my word that the sytem worked and would send his agent to pick it up.  I asked where he lived for delivery and exchange, he insisted that I set up a paypal account, I pushed for exchange in person and said no, only paypal account. It didn't seem right to me, so I did my research, as a paralegal that I am... and sure enough i find all this! Why would somebody in S. Dakota need a water softener... Glad i look into it first.

Same exact thing happened to me. He is trolling preownedweddingdresses.com. Beware!

He was going to "buy" nearly $2,000 in cabinets without seeing them first. The English he/she uses is horrible. When he asked for my PayPal account email I sent him back a serious response...

I'm glad for you that you didn't lose your money!! I have a strict policy for anything I sell now! Cash only and I will continue to report scammers I hear from hoping it will be the day they catch someone!

I received a text from 605-472-7726 reply into my grandfather clock on craigslist! I'm thankful I have had a few scammers at different times which took a couple messages for me to suspect wasn't right. I actually had someone overnight a check to me that looked totally legit. I looked up bank it was all there I then googled the check # and name and this was stolen check from 2 years before that was 1 of over a 1000 stolen and they were just starting to show up through the bank! I cant believe with technology they cant catch these thieves and put them away! I feel sorry for the people that doesn't know better and loses there money!

This person just to contact me through TextNow.com about my refrigerator that I'm selling on Craigslist. They told me they wanted to buy the refrigerator & they wanted to pay me through PayPal. I gave have my email address for the PayPal transaction then I didn't here any thing from them after that. So I Google searched the number and I found this information.

this person tried to contact me about a washer/dryer. they have my email address for paypal but after i found this information, obviously i will not be doing business with them. thanks for the heads up!!

Same old Scam tactics. Insisted I set up a pay pal account. For a 3.5 ton ac unit. The sheer ignorance of the English language is a dead give away. Plus he didn't answer right away when I asked how it was going to be picked up.
I hate this type of scammer and I hope people don't give into this!
Plus I live in Arizona, some here is bound to need an ac/heatpump.

wanted to buy a wedding dress from me via paypal. I work in IT so I was aware of the paypal scam already.
He stated that the money had gone in to check my email, So i have an email from paypal with the following email address
service@paypal.com® (mtcn_review@computermail.net)   stating that the money has gone into my account.

SO i check my paypal and nothing in there not much of a surprise lol
