the number has been calling non stop for a week.  ever since i got a new phone the number has not stopped calling.  up to 16 times a day starting as early as 8am.

You know two can play this game. If you dial this number a person answers and goes thru the wells fargo crap. I have been calling this number every ten minutes and needless to say they are getting annoyed.

we have been getting calls from different numbers by these idiots 10-20 times a day for the past 2 months.  So far they have used 7 different numbers.  We owe them nothing, we have never been late on payments, and pay our bills on time.  They always call using a recording for us to call them back.  We did that once and was put on hold for 15 mins only to be disconnected.  We have been using Phonetray to block them so for all we care they can call 50 times a day.  If they want our attention bad enough, they can send out a letter in the mail.  but I guess collection agencies aren't smart enough to figure that out.

I agree with above. There can't be any reason to call. My payment is direct pay and I am paid current. I have no idea why they are calling me. I guess next call I will answer it and see what these numskulls have a problem with.

Say they are Wells Fargo Financial.  Call 24/7 before 8 am and after 9 pm as well as every half-hour or hour in between.  Lie that the person they are calling has given them your number and that they have spoken to that person at that number.  A pack of lies, of course.  Totally disregard being told they have a wrong number and not to call again.  A few will tell you they will remove the number from their automated dialer.  Not true.

If you have a cell phone just put their number into your contacts and set the ringtone to silent.  I get calls from Wells Fargo constantly and have found this method keeps your phone from ringing.  I have attempted to work with these jag-offs and they keep the harrassing calls coming.  I lost my job and have been unemployed for 6 months.  They WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU!!!!!!  I will NEVER do any business with Fargo again

This company will LIE to you, and harass you every day. Just notify them that the call is being recorded, and either they hang up, or they calm it down.

We have sent in a request for payment help to them and informed them that we would be able to pay our past due by the end of next month.  I wrote them that they may not contact me at work, but they continue to call.  Luckily I have caller ID on my direct line at work, so I just pick up the phone and hang up on them.  They just don't get it.  Never again will I do business with Wells Fargo Financial.

I am sick of calls as well.  Even if you do send stop notices and such these damn people still call.  No matter if you inform them over and over you are not the person they need to NAG, hags!

I lost my job as the company I worked for moved overseas. I had to take a job for much less money. Then my husband died and I have been trying to work with these people. They are impossible! They call at work and at home and even my mother who is 92 got a call from then. I always return the calls and have been trying to work with them. I actually had a guy the other day tell me there was nothing they could do for me, so I asked if I should just quit paying and he said sure, why not. WHAT? I don't understand this company at all.

I got a call from Wells Fargo Financial demanding that I pay off the debt. I stated that I could pay a certain amount but other than that amount it would be impossible for me to pay my other bills such as rent. I am on SSI I told the manager....he told me that the amount I was willing to pay was too low and not going to do. I asked him what he wanted me to do then....he said "GET A JOB" I was shocked at his rude and insensitive attitude. I hung up and changed my phone number this was earlier this year....I got a call from a friend of mine who I had used as a person to contact in case of an emergency on my original credit application who stated that Wells Fargo called wanting to know where I was and what my phone number was. Thinking it was the bank she gave them my phone number....I started getting the phone calls again morning noon and night. I am working with a credit consolidation company but yet WFF contacted my friend to try to track me down anyway....I think they just like being rude to people regardless if they get payment or not.

I found a link under privacy policy to the company I owe a debt to.  Do some research I am in the process of sending a letter.  And will do it to every single one until it stops.  I am already working on consolidating my debts and still get calls.
19. How can I stop a collection agency from contacting me?
If you want to stop all contact from the collection agency you should request in writing that they do not contact you again; to cease and desist collection activity. Although not required, your letter should be sent by certified mail, "return receipt requested" so you have proof of delivery. Once the agency receives your letter, its collectors can only contact you one final time to advise collection efforts are being terminated, explain what remedies are ordinarily invoked by the creditor, or explain the remedies they plan to seek. After that, collection efforts by that third party debt collector must stop. These pests have a pack of lies, such as, person they are calling has given them your number and/or they have talked to that person at your number.  They ask if you have recently received the number.  Some say they will remove your number from their calling list.  Don't believe it!!!
Once they start to call, there is no end to the calls.

Call from 605-782-5040 is from Wells Fargo Financial Bank. They also call from 605-782-5041.  They are trying to collect a debt and some of them are nasty, rude people and will say anything.  However, I have spoken to a couple of younger ladies and they are very nice.  If one starts their un-tasteful and over the top commentary just notify them that their call is being recorded for quality & legal purposes and sometimes that helps in toning down their rude retoric.  Some of the things they do and say are down-right illegal.

I have had it with these people! I changed my phone number and now I keep getting calls from Wells Fargo looking for the person who used to have this number. I have asked them repeatedly to take the number out of their system and they still keep calling ten times a day! I actually had the idiot manager I spoke to today tell me that I had to prove I wasn't the guy they were looking for. How the heck am I supposed to do that?! Then he told me he would call me back because he didn't like my attitude. Attitude? Buddy, you ain't seen NOTHING yet!
