Received call from the number at 3:12pm 7/24/07 and heard a recording in spanish. I don't speak the language so I don't know what it was about. My provider is AT&T(formerly Cingular).

I get a call from this number at LEAST once a month for the past year and a half.  After answering this call time and time again I wised up and programmed the number into my phone as "Spanish Recording" so that I know not to answer it when they call.  Now I don't waste my minutes or time. It has not discouraged them tho...they just keep on calling.

POR SUERTE NO CONTESTE LAS 2 VECES QUE ESTABA SONANDO EL CELULAR, POR QUE ESTABA EN LA DUCHA... PERO ME RESULTA EXTRAÑO, YO ME ENCUENTRO EN COSTA RICA Y ESE NUMERO ES DE USA... TAMPOCO ME DEJARON UN MENSAJE DE VOZ, ESTO ES MUY EXTRAÑO... MUY EXTRAÑO!!

Contact your carrier and see what they can do.  Since you never gave out your phone number, and since a good majority of us dont understand spanish, tell them you feel like they are just trying to find cell numbers or that your concerned about your privacy.  I just reported the number to my Carrier, and they said they would find out who it is and do everything in their power to protect their customers.  My carrier is Alltel.

Call came in at 754pm EST on my T-Mobile phone.  Didn't answer. Googled it & found this page today

I got a call from this (650)947-9988 on my T-mobile cell phone. Since I dont speak a lick of Spanish I had no clue what it was about, but they have called me several times in the past 6 month. This really needs to stop!

I received a call from this number today July 24,07 at 12:52pm. I didnt pick up the phone, later I googled the number and found that all of this people got the same phone call. Its nice to know that your not along in this...

Got this same call at approx 2:43pm today like the rest.
I'm guessing the number is spoofed.  They may be telemarketers
harvesting cellular numbers.  Like most, I never answer numbers
I am not expecting.

Just activated Optimum Voice service a few days ago. Received this call to the BRAND NEW home number at 6:30 PM 7/24.  Did not pick up...thanks to digital caller ID saying it was from Waubay, South Dakota.

I got a call from 605 947-9988.  Like most people I don't answer if I don't know the number.  I googled and found this site.  I have had wierd calls before when there is a recording speaking spanish, and there is an echo almost like they are talking out of an ice cream truck speaker.

I found this site by googling this number. They called me on my cell about an hour ago. I live in Utah 801 area code. Just tried calling back and got the operator "we're sorry this number has been disconnected" message. I think this must be some sort of weird telemarketing/texting scam to get cell phone numbers.

I received this call in patterns like the rest of you, the last time 7/14/07 and today(7/24/07) at 4:20 (T-mobile service). I don't know much Spanish so I can't pick up what its saying. The only part I get is at the end something like "speak into the telephone.? could be wrong... I'm involved with anti-amnesty group so at first I thought it was a Spanish campaign, but I'm most like wrong, does any one understand what it says? Has anyone involved the FCC yet?
