Same as everyone here, but this time did not answer and looked up number. My company cell phone no less.

i signed up for at freecreditreport.com and ever since i signed up i've been getting telemarketing calls!!

Had to wait for about 1 minute before "representative" answered

rep - Hello! I am calling regarding your expired automotive warranty!
me - (as Mayor West from Family Guy) Did Mittens let her warranty expire??
rep - That appears to be the case, but we have great news (I interrupt)
me - Mittens, that minx! Well, manx actually, I just finished modifying the Yugo for her paws...
rep - sir (I butt in again because he tried to)
me - She said it couldn't be done! HA HA HA (slow laugh, still doing Mayor West) Meow meow I don't have opposable
rep - Look (I interript again)
me - THUMBS! Thumbs I said! HA HA HA HA  . . . HAAAAAAAA
me - Cats can't drive stick! (Brief pause)
rep - (unintelligible)
me - The hardest part was the seat, it took me three years to (rep hangs up)
me - Wait, do yo want to talk to Mittens? (has already hung up)

unknown caller.  I didn't pick up and didn't leave any message.  The same caller called again few mins later, I didn't answer either, same thing no message

came to my cell phone... i have no idea how i got on these "spam" lists.

I got two calls... I called back and it said it was an unknown number... waste of my cell phones battery...

Got 3 calls from this number.
They went something like this.

First Call
Me: Hello?
3 seconds of silence
Me: Hello?
Them: ....THEEEEEE (really loud) 3 seconds of silence
Me: Hello?
Them: ....second notice about your car's manufacturer warrantee, please HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....CHHHHHHH
They hung up

Second Call:
Me: Hello?
Them: This is the final notice about your car's manufacturer warrantee, please hold while we connect you to the next available representative.
I hung up at that point

Third Call:
Me: Hello?
Them: This is the final notice about your car's manufacturer warrantee, please hold while we connect you to the next available representative.
....
Operator: Hi, are you calling about renewing your manufacturer warrantee today?
Me: Uh, what car would that be?
They hung up on me and haven't called back since.

My car was a gift from my dad as a High School graduation present last year, it's not even in my name until it's paid off. So, I dunno what car they're talking about.

I think the calls are being made from a computer using a VoiceOverIP program (like skype, for example). The number that shows up o your caller ID is usually random, as some VoIP programs offer an option to type in the incoming/callback number. I would recommend everyone going to DoNotCall.gov and registering your phone number and see if these calls stop or if the number goes down a littler.

just got a call from them. i asked to talk to a telemarketer and asked them what vehicle i drove and what my name was....they said it has something to do about security so they couldnt tell me. then he said he would take me off the calling list. i hope he was telling the truth.

This people are always calling my number. They even call in the middle of the night.

"Your factory warranty may have expired"...yeh, no kidding. My car is 15 Years Old!!
We need stronger Do-Not-Call laws for these losers!!

These folks have been trying to renew my car insurance for two years. I don't have insurance with them and according to Google the number belongs to a poor woman in a Kentucky trailer park.

Maybe it's John McCain looking for hope, now that he claims he owns change.

Called my cell phone, voice recording selling satelite tv.

Called to my cell phone about car warranty.  The thing is, it says that this is the "last time" that they would be sending me this reminder.  However, the voicemail keeps coming.  This has been the third automated voice messaging reminder that I have received in two months.

This is really annoying.

They called me about my car warranty expiring 2 times now...I thought it was legit and tried to connect but they dropped the call. I called back but got a busy signal...

I love calls like this, numbers not known to me get answered "Congratulations!!! You are the 15 caller and have won an all expense paid trip to Costa Rica, you're on the air, what's the radio station that gives away more trips?" most hang up, if its a friend they get a kick out of it.

Garbage! Junk call to my cell phone.

When someone like this calls, tell them you are a detective and they have just dialled in on to a murder scene. Tell them very quickly not to hang as this number has been traced already.

If they hang on, ask them questions about why they are calling - did they know Peter Green, the victim? Did they know he was homosexual and were they having an affair with him?

Ask for their personal details etc. Normally puts the $hits up 'em!
