First of all , I'd like to introduce myself as a Hacker with a lot of talent and time on my hands.
My Mother was victimized by one of these scammers once, that?s when I decided to put my excess time and talent to reducing the proliferation of these scammers and their perpetrators.
If you received a call from these guys then rest assured they already have your information.
The aren't trying to steal your identity they already have it.
How did they get your name and number ?
You filled out an online form for either a pay-day loan , a mortgage, or a car loan.
These scammers operate like a normal business. They may have even paid a legitimate company to provide the leads (your information).
If the information grabbing site was set up by one of these scammers then they will get first crack at the chance to steal your money, so usually if you adon't stop them in their tracks the first time, they will continue to sell your information to other scammers.
How to get your name off their list ?
Let them know you know who they are, and keep in mind that we realize that the scammers themselves frequent these boards, so I only provide generalized information, but it should be enough to get your name off their list.
If you are receiving calls from any of these numbers.

The Master Mind whom shall remain unnamed is based out of New Jersey, and he has a very impressive front company that has office both here in the US and in Noida UP, India. Also he had a really really really nice Mercedes convertible.
They use the aliases :
Justin Floyd, Justin Crowe, Justin Curl, Kevin Foster, David Parker, and Samantha
None of these names are their real names of course and all of the people calling you are located in India.
The name of the guy that runs that office and the guy that eventually you get transferred to is Mobeen Khan.
According to his phone records he makes a lot of calls to Bareilly, so he either lives there or he goes to school there , or both.
Please fight the urge to Google him there are thousands of Mobeen Khans in this world, and it wasn?t easy finding the right one in a country of a billion people.
He actually comes from a descent middle-class family, except for one of his brothers. Lets not drag them into this just yet.
If you received a call from them , call them and ask for them by their real names, so they feel the same anxiety you felt when they called you. Feel free to threaten to call them back daily if they don?t remove your name from their database.
Remember these guys are in India neither US laws nor Indian laws apply to you. So if you were to call them every 5 minutes for their entire shift or if you were to threaten them in any way , you will not get prosecuted.
BTW their shift runs between 9am ~ 8pm EST

There is a group of scammer based in India
Whom have stolen Tens of thousands of dollars
from Hard working Americans
Here's the How
They set up a legitimate website to gather all
your information.
For example you might fill out a form for a
payday loan , student loan or a car loan.
They may even buy this information from a
company you've done business from in the past.
They also purchase VOIP phones so that they
appear to be making calls from inside the US,
even though they are based out of a call
center in India.
The Scam
Once they gather your information they call
you at your home or work and claim you owe a
past due amount and that you must pay them
now.
To sound convincing they'll use a western
sounding name and they'll want to confirm your
SSN # or Bank Account #, which they already
have.
So why don't they just take the money out of
your account without you knowing?
Because when you look at your statement and
$500 is missing you call your bank and they do
an investigation.
If you knowingly give them the money thinking
that you are paying off a debt, you'll never
call your Bank. These guys brag that they take
in $70 thousand/month.
What you can do if you are a victim.
The only way you are going to get your money
back is if you don't tell your bank that you
willingly gave these scammers permission to
remove funds.
Just tell them that it was removed from your
account without your AUTHORIZATION.
Yes , I know its dishonest but sometimes you
gotta fight fire with fire.
Otherwise your bank will tell you you gotta go
through the courts, which is impossible
because they don't have jurisdiction in India.
What can you do to prevent them from stealing
from someone else?
Call them everyday until they have to change
their numbers, remember every minute you have
them on the phone , thats a minute they lose
trying to steal from someone.
I have called them and had 45 minute
conversations with some of them, and have
gathered some intelligence from them.
When you call ask for Vi-Shawn ,Kumar,
Prashanta or Mo-Bin those maybe their real
Indian names.
Honestly when you've had a bad day at work
there is nothing more rewarding then venting
on someone who deserves it.
Remember these guys are in India they cant
hurt you they cant even complain that yer
harassing them.
Before you call Google these #'s you'll see
what scum these guys are when you read some of
the comments of the people they have robbed
All 3 of these numbers belong to the same
outfit.

I just received this same message left for me at my work and on my cellular phone. They did not state what they were calling for in particular, only that they were investigating me and I needed to call them back right away before I am arrested.
They also said they were calling for David Harrison. I am relieved that this appears to be a scam. I have never had such a threatening call before.

I told them to kiss my a** and come do it. They get all flustered and start cursing. Don't give them anything. They can't do jack. It is beyond me how they got my work number and SS#. They have even gotten a hold of my bank info. I had to shut that account down. That must have reeeeeeeeally pissed them off. Anyway, I reported them to the FBI, credit agencies and SS Administrator. I want someone arrested.

Wow, so glad I found this thread. Just received a call on my cel and work number with this same set of circumstances, down to it being an Indian or Pakistani woman who left the message.
It is craziness how they are able to obtain this information so easily it seems.
Thanks for all of your posts!!!

I've received calls for 3 years from these people. This time it is Max with David Harrison Law Office and they have a complaint against me and my social security number. It is a scam. I ask them to send me the information in writing but they always say it is too late. I ask them to come to my home, etc., but nothing. The calls come from California, New York, Florida, etc.

I have received several of these calls as well over the last month or so and within the last week they began calling my place of employment. All of the calls, except one, have been from a man with a strong Middle-Eastern/Indian accent stating I am a primary suspect, and allegations have been made against someone with my social security number in a fraud investigation, and they also mentioned my "manager", and proceeded to state that if I didn't return their call they would be forced to take legal action. I finally returned their call after I discovered they had called my workplace several times as well, and asked to speak to "Ray McKenzie", the man leaving the messages, upon which they asked me what this call was regarding and I refused to give them any information and asked them what their calls were regarding. The alleged Ray McKenzie was put on the line, which sounded exactly like the person that originally answered the phone. They gave me the runaround and would not give me any information unless I confirmed I was the person they were trying to get a hold of, which I refused, and they told me I could give them my information or end the call. They repeated this several times and were very short with me, and then told me "good day" and hung up. DO NOT give out any personal information!

I just received a very rude and threatening call from a Pakastani voiced girl. Would not tell me anything. Have no idea what she is talking about that a complaint was lodged against me and my manager??? Am on UI benefits...Do I need to worry or just ignore??? Not happy! First time I ever received this type call...said she was representing a law firm in California...that was all I could get from her...she kept asking for my lawyers name...I hung up!

I am worried, the people were able to verify my social security number what do I do? They said they were going to arrest everyone at my job, and including me for some type of fraud for a payday loan I had received a year ago which I have never even taken. Their address doesn't match up with mine nor does any other information. What do I do?????

I got the same calls mentioned by everyone above with a HEAVY Indian or Pakistani accent. He has also tried to call my work place and asked for information about me. Good thing they discovered it was a scam and even looked online and found all the scam warnings about this call. So they refused to give him my info and told him not to call again. He has called and left those scam voice messages - have always just ignored and deleted them. Will be changing my phone number soon.
JUST IGNORE AND DO CALL HIM BACK.....BIG SCAM WAITING TO STEAL YOUR IDENTITY!!

I received a call from this number from someone claiming to represent a law firm. He said I had an unpaid payday loan which I know I do not. I was threatened with legal action if I did not cooperate. I told them I suspected it was a scam and not to call again. So far he has called me at work twice.

Ok, now same SCAM...Its a guy going by the same name "John Taylor", who called from the #714-441-8693(some where in California), nw calling from a NY #607-231-8401, saying the same ol' crap he said earlier. But the last time he called from the 714 #, he stated that it was my FINAL WARNING..but now all of a sudden hr changes his # and says hes John Taylor and says everything he said last time about me being arrested as well as my spouses an a that he would come to my work place. Also that I owe $25,000 for the case that is put against me and my references...then states my name and my last 4 digits of my SSN ...and says I should return the call or else...DAMN this dude is annoying!!!
