this man called me 10 times saying he was going to put me in jail and he was from attorney general office

I just got a call from a man with an accent. He left a message saying my name and s.s. number was being used in a fraud. That scared me.  When I called back he told me I was going to be arrested for a loan I never got. I'm glad I looked up the number. Thank God for computers!!!!

This just happened to me .tonight....peter said I would be arrested in the morning.. I went to report to the police dept ...

Next time say, "Bring it on, little chicken and stop hiding in the boiler room". Thats when his feelings will get hurt, an  he's going start robo calling you with different numbers. Predictable vermins.

I just got a call from them saying I will be arrested in the morning.  I just laughed and he said that I was going to be arrested in the morning because a claim has been filed against me.  I asked from whom and he just repeated the same thing over again. He barely spoke proper English and I hung up.  He called several more times and left a message that said I need to call him now or I will be arrested tomorrow oh and he said at the end, "Good Luck".  Are these people dumb.  In order for you to be arrested there has to be charges against you with proper notification and investigation, as well as the fact is that You do not get arrested for bills owed to a payday loan.  They send you to collections.  Please if anyone gets a phone call like this report it and move on with your life.  If you are really concern request the claim in writing, (That is your right) and the only people that can arrested you are Officer and they usually will call and talk with you first before they proceed.

I received a call from these people as well. Ironically they both sound of ME decent. The first guy asked me if I was aware of a legal matter against my name and social - I replied no. Then he stated he would connect me to the attorney. Moreso, it appeared that he just handed him the phone. When the second guy got on the phone he introduced himself as Mr. Black and repeatedly asked me if I was a aware of a legal matter against, despite my repeated "no's". He proceeded to constantly ask me how my day was going. I then asked him to expedite his call as he was calling me at work. He started to repeat himself again..."legal matter against your name and social security..." As the conversation was going in circles, I asked him to send me legal documentation regarding the claim. He became irate, made a few comments which I couldn't make out due to his accent, then he hung up. IF this is a legit source or if he is an attorney, he shoud  be able to send you something in writing--correct? Hmmm.

So I got a phone call this morning and when they didn't sound like an American I hung up! They called a second time and left a message saying I had a lawsuit filed against me and left the name Adam , so I called back  and the guy said I had a lawsuit filed against my name and social I asked for what but he didn't say . So then I was all nonchalant about it and he told me to stay at my address until 3:30 so that I may be arrested and I was like OK so he got mad and hung up.

Adam called me from 607-595-2045 saying he was coming to pick me up at 9:30 in the morning. Said I had a case. What a @$%^ scam. We will get you ADAM!!!!!

I got a message on my machine from this number as well saying he had my ss# and his name was Adam with a foreign accent from State Investigations. Wish I woulda answered, probably woulda cussed him out and hung up!

Just got a call from  6075952045. This Is a total scam. I also filled out for a online loan and been getting calls no stop from people in India. This one they threaten me by saying police will be at my residence tomorrow. I responded by telling them to go ahead and send them! I will be home all day, also that that I know they are frauds and can kiss my A$$! he said ok and hung up. Also recieved other calls saying I'm approved for a loan I just have to pay the intrest amount on the loan first. When i said that made no sense why would i pay intrest the person got pissed and hung up on me lol. Ummm ya If I wanted a loan obviously I am not going to give u money up front for it. Another call said I have been approved for a grant from the USA government of course a Indian woman called who could barely speak english lol get it together people Americans are not that dumb lol just block the numbers FYI they are using google voice to call that's how broke they are very unsophisticated...

I knew this was some sort of scam when they called my fiance' on Thanksgiving day, saying that she will be locked up tomorrow. She applied for an on-line loan,but nothing came of it because she doesn't have a checking account. I'm going to go further with this and report them to my people in New York and see what kind of bulls@#! they are trying to play with a career criminal/Thug Scout..Ya' heard me..Holla'

They do it because there are A LOT of people that fall for it and actually pay their "debts" rather than face getting arrested. I almost fell for it. It's free money for these people and they need to be pranked themselves. I'm in the process of finding a radio station that does these kind of pranks and having them call as the FBI or CIA and scare the sh** out of them for a change.

I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from San Francisco California and New York after trying to apply for a loan online. I also got this call, I ignored it like I do with all the others, but it freaked me out when I got the message. I called them back and they knew who it was when they picked up the phone, I didn't even tell them my name. After talking to them for about 5 minutes I knew it was a scam. I asked them what company filed a complaint against my social security number and they went on and on about how I will be arrested tomorrow. I asked them again for the name of the company and the guy told me "I am not going to tell you the name of the company, so are you going to pay this or do you want to be arrested?" he sounded VERY unhappy that I wasn't complying with him and paying this so called debt, I hung up on the guy. He tried calling me right back and I picked up then hung up on him again! There was a lot of "huh" "what" "say that again" from my end because I couldn't understand him.

Yeah the same guy called me and hung up everyday  these loans are horrible scams i would recommend you tell the creep that you changed you ss number and he will go to jail for using it it has felony charges on it what a big stupid money sceam picking on needy folks shame on him im gonna report him to the cops if he keeps harassing me but i would not answer my phone at all ignore ignorance.

This is a SCAM.   If you have a payday loan call the company.  If you are behind they  will work with youl   Do Not give these people $$.    They almost got me a few months ago, I was in a very vulnerable position and believed them.   I found out that they use cells phones that ping off US towers, but they are actually located  somewhere in India.  i also reported it to the local and state authorities.   Go to your states website there should be a number you can call.     Tell them that in AMERICA people aren't arrested for owing money, there is no such thing as debtors prison, so they can go crawl back into their cave.

By the way I received the First phone call yesterday Oct 29 and the guy claimed to be calling from DC, which was very interesting since we were in the middle of a Hurricane.   if he was in DC he would have known that.

Just received a call stating I would be arrested in the morning due to a cash advance of 650.00..I did apply for a loan but nothing of this amount. I told them that I felt it was a scam and would be contacting the authoritative's immediately.  They mumbled something then hung up. Scared me at first then thought better of it.

I received a call from someone who said they were from Tom White or Wyatt's office ( I could not quite understand the person).  They said that I was under investigation for my ID or ss# number - I think.  The individual said his written lines (I did not understand) and told me good luck!!!( I did understand this).  This message was left on my answering machine,

Called and told "peter" i wanted his real name and the FBI would like to talk to him. Then I let him know that I knew he was in India running this scam so quit calling. He promptly hung up on me.

Payback is right. I guess they are trying to use scare tactics for some reason but I dont get it. I block them also.

I got the same message and I knew it was a scam when I told them that I have an attorney that will be investigating this and they said ok and then called again saying if you think this is fraud just give us a call. I will never ever apply for a loan online again. These people are crazy.

No you won't be arrested. Block that number and go on with your life.

I got the same call from the States Attourney's office saying I was going to be arrested.  Due to a complaint From Cash Advance America.

Got a call from Mr.Black said Iwas going to be arressted in the morning.Has to be getting my information from the web.I'M REPORTING IT TO THE LOCAL POLICE DEPT AS IT CONTAINS THREATS.

Does anyone know who this is?
