I called microsoft about a software issue yesterday. Now we are being swamped with "unavailable" callers and this number from NY.  We answered the phone twice & no one was on the other end.  So APPARENTLY, MIRCOSOFT IS SELLING YOUR PHONE #.  Somehow, they (the scammers) know that you called tech support.  Of course....the number I called for support was over in INDIA somewhere...had a hell of a time understanding him.  Please don't answer these calls!  My policy is that if there's no number showing I pick up the receiver & slam it back down. Friggin jerks trying to get your personal data & money! WATCH OUT.

I am in the UK and getting calls from this number how do they get my mobile number way over in USA?

Received a call today with regards to my " Microsoft problem". I asked him what gave him the idea I had a computer. When I asked to speak to his supervisor, he hung up. Called the number back, and as noted above the number was no longer in service.

Got a call from this number at 12.30pm. As I wasn't expecting an international call I chose not to answer

Some Indian dude is calling my house at 9:45pm at  night talking about Microsoft errors after repeatedly saying hello. We need to get a bill to address phone companies from allowing these types of harassing calls and [paying excessive fines. This is a spam/fraudulent caller.

the girl phoned saying it was Microsoft calling as they had error messages and wanted to check my computer. She asked me to turn it on, as I think she thought it was late. (11:30pm on the West Coast) However I'm in Hawaii so it was only 8:30pm. I told her it was on and asked her for her phone number. She said they don't give it out (but my caller ID showed it & it said it was from a Pay Phone). I told her it said she was calling from a payphone. I could hear others talking in the background, like telemarketers. I said Microsoft could email me and said goodbye. Then I looked up the number and found all these comments, which I am so grateful for. Thanks with Aloha

Called twice today. I answered the second time and someone speaking in a foreign language. I hung up.

Got a call from this number and they told me I had an online computer infection.  I told them there was no such thing as an online computer virus, he told me that he will show me.  I played along knowing it was some kind of scam.  He told me to open up Event Viewer and asked me what I saw.  I said the Event Viewer.  Another guy got on the call and asked if I saw my mother's va**na, and I said no, then he said for me to eat it.  I then told him all I saw was his mother's dirty Afghan va**na and ended the call.  I called the number back with *67 in front and it just rang and no answer.

I like people calling me. It makes me feel so important. I am a sumbuddy!

called me 2am, and three times during day. Have asked to not call, but they keep calling.

Got this call.....very bogus guy with Indian accent wanting to solve my computer errors. He had my name and info in his data base...scary. Do Not go for this, google esolving and you will see the scam info.

I answered this number and the caller/male said something in another language that was only a few words and hung up.

Just got the call from some chick with a India accent claiming to be from micro soft and there is a problem with my computer.

I've received several phone calls from this number in the last few days.  When I finally answered it, it was a man with a very strong accent that I could barely understand saying he was from Microsoft technical support and he was aware of me receiving several critical errors.  He wanted me to go to my computer so he could help me "determine the problem."  I told him I was not at my computer and to stop calling me.  He immediately hung up.

same here. i answered the call coming from 6075278800 and a woman speaking english in russian accent wanted to list my company in a Marketing webpage (something like that) etc. I was too busy to pay more attention and asked her to call back some other time.   She called me again from another number (6077370186) butthis time i didnt answer....

They have also been calling me and some how us W7 for a phone number that rings through to my phone. I have told them repeatedly to quit calling and it doesn't help.

Not so much arrogant as realistic. Unless the call originates in Canada, the RCMP can do nothing. These calls spoof the numbers and really originate in some place like Pakistan.

Saw the number on call display; didn't answer.

This number keeps calling me. I have answered several times and they have tried to persuade me to allow them access to my home computer indicating they were with microsoft support and that my computer had critical errors. I told them that I am fully aware of their "scam" and that the police were being contacted. This however has not stopped them from continuing to keep trying. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!

Recieved a call from this number, all I had was piano hold music until I hung up. My caller id said Pay Phone

Just called - wanting to fix my computer. The arrogant b*****d, with a Chinese accent, laughed at me as I threatened to report him to the RCMP.

My sister called me about this number calling her.  The guy said he was calling about her computer.  She told him she didnt have one.  He could hear her kids in the background, and asked if she had kids.. she said ya..he said you have kids and you dont have a computer.  She said no she didnt.  He said you have an older daughter, she said ya so.  His response was "I wanna have sex with your older daughter".  My sister told him off and hung up then called me and told me about the call.  I called the  police and explained the call.  They said that because it was international I had to contact the RCMP.  I tried that and have to call in the morning.

Claimed to be from Microsoft. Wouldn't offer any confirming information about their identity and started swearing when I told them I was on the Canadian "Do Not Call" list from telemarketers.

i got a call from a guy saying his name is victor working for microsoft customer care thornhill canada wanted to fix my computercoz they were recieving error (virus) message from my network , was stupid enough to belive it and  let them access my laptop then after 5 mins realised it was a scam , then i diconnected the laptop connection , called rogers ( my internet provider) they confirmed its a scam.,  my wife told me later that they called and asked for some banking info when my wife refused they started swearing , be carefull guys i think this is a mafia they sounded like indians( from the accent) working from india

Received a call at 8:00 pm Pacific time. At first I thought there was nobody on the line, but after my second "hello" the caller said "hi, hello - my name is Brian and I'm calling you about your computer..." - at this point I told him to "take a hike" and finished with "AND QUIT CALLING THIS NUMBER." (Yes - shouting!) I then disconnected the call and immediately blocked the number.

Seems like this type of caller has increased in frequency over the past couple of weeks. I just keep blocking the numbers - after telling them to remove our number from their call list.

Received a call a few nights ago from same number at 11pm, looked it up & seen scam warnings. They just called here tonight again at 11pm, saying they were calling about my computer. To which I gave him a piece of my mind about knowing about the scam, calling me at night and then hung up. Irritates me to no end.

got a call from New York 7:53 Pacific time. Informing me I had a Microsoft error and they needed... before the woman finished her sentence I asked for her name, her supervisor's name and with no response informed her it was a scam and I was going to report it to RCMP Fraud. She hung up very quickly. I called the number back within a minute and it was "no longer in service".

Got a call 9 pm, two rings and stopped, I never answered.
After looking it up I am glad I didnt answer.
