I recently changed from Nomorobo to Robokiller. It's been working well. The first call I experienced today was a blocked unknown call after one short ring. Next came a call from 608-371-6666. The Agent new my name. Claimed to be from the new mail order Rx company that my insurer had changed me to. Welcomed me. Told me she had my Rx list. Then wanted me to tell her my full name, address etc to confirm her information. I told her if I had called them I would but since they called me No Way. Then I told my wife and she told me the same company had called the day before and she had given the information to them and they did have her correct Rx list. I will call the Rx Company to complain and inform them, but it sure is fishy.

Received three calls from 877 577 4095 within the past hour or so. I've received calls from this number for the past several days also,, NOMOROBO always blocks the 877 number... but just now got a call from the 608 371 6666 which is the NOMOROBO number.... don't get it... since doing  the NOMOROBO most all this stupid calls have all but ceased with the exception of the 877 number. I don't get it. What do these so called spoofers get out of all those calls? Used too be a lot worse until NOMOROBO came out.... the so called  "do not call list" is worthless...

Left no message. First got a call from Research Center 415-363-9581 which rang once because it's blocked. Within a minute or so 608-371-6666 called which was not blocked indicating Out of Area call. Now, I'll have to do two things:

The 608 called will be reported to Nomorobo and it will also be blocked by my phone or thru AT&T phone account. These calls are annoying, and I no longer answer the phone unless I know the number who's calling me.

Caller said he was with the Centers for Disease Control and wanted info on my children's immunizations. I don't have any children, so I told him my cat got her feline leukemia vaccination today. I did sign up for NoMoRobo today, but it didn't block this call obviously.

Got a call first from 855-300-7877 which NoMoRobo blocked on a single ring.  This was followed immediately by a call from "Unknown caller" at 608-371-6666.  They left a message, ID'ing me by name, about selling/renting a timeshare I no longer own.  Looks like the 608-371-6666 is recognized as getting past NoMoRobo (at least for the short term lol).  I will report the number to NoMoRobo

I have read many of the other comments above, and I have the same issue as most who have written here ...
I first got a call from a different phone number 866-883-0728. My NoMoRobo recognized this number as telemarketing scum, and thus hung-up on them after one ring. They then immediately called back using the phone number for this thread, but my phone rang four times and went to my answering machine. They left no message.
Caller ID reads this number as "Unknown Name."
I will report this number to NoMoRobo, but it seems that somehow these scum-bags have found a way around the system.

My first call was from 514-288-0420 followed by by 608-371-6666.  One was on VM as a hang-up

Think this number is related to 410-384-4966, at least in Maryland. For me it's always been a 410 number calling followed immediately by the 608-371-6666. Since I wasn't around the phone not sure if NOMOROBO blocked either. Obviously some spoof to get a call through. Pretty sad that the government can come up with the technology to suck up everything from the phone companies, but cannot stop these criminals.

They called 6 more times in the last 24 hours.  4 of the calls were a "call bomb" all in the same minute.  All were blocked by either my blocker or Nomorobo.

I can tell you for certain 608-371-6666 was a call from Service Champions technician (air conditioning service.)
Seems this tech uses his cellphone and has not changed his number since coming to California from another
state.

Since NoMoRobo does not call out, it is Not them.
The number is being used by scammers to scam you. Just ignore it. If you have nomorobo like I do, it only rings once.

Called again today.  Got by nomorobo (reported the number on 5/6), but my blocker axed it because it starts with a 6.

Reported to nomorobo, though it seems to be doing less good.  Glad I went to a white list.

6/02 8:18 PDT  Really am not tech saavy, so I don't understand how they do it, but these creeps seem to be able to piggyback onto incoming calls.  Caused a legitimate call from getting thru at first but they seemed to realize there was something wrong and redialed, getting thru on second try (the legit one).

TOLL FREE 800-850-2792 was blocked by Nomorobo.  Call instantly switched to "OUT OF AREA  608-371-6666".    Female voice, not distinct, asked for my husband by name, claiming he had used the internet to request a quote for car insurance.  Told him to call back to 877-845-4886.     SCAM.  Husband did not request any such information.

It appears that NoMoRoBo has recognized what they're doing, and is now cutting off calls spoofing their number.  I've been called twice today by a number that NoMoRoBo has blocked, both times followed by calls from 608-371-6666.  NoMoRoBo intercepted the follow-ups as well as the originals.

This number 608-371-6666 came through after a local caller is got zapped by nomorobo. The caller was from a heating company confirming their scheduled appt at my house. Lol I just said knock yourselves out for I didn't request such maintenance and I just acquired this number. Lol! These ppl sucks!

I filed a complaint to FCC and they said call FTC at 18773824357, I think it's all a farce as they can't be traced no matter what.

Did not answer. Left no message.

Yes, this is the number to REPORT a robo called to NOMOROBO.

So either it is a spoofed number or NOMOROBO is somehow being diverted back to us. Don't bother reporting it.

Sooooooooooo after all that, NOMOROBO doesn't work! Some guy who came up with it walks off with $50k for something that obviously has a quick work-around. Great.

At 6:31 pm a call rang through once from 610-777-3715 with the name INT CMMNCTNS RS then 10 secons later this number came up with UNKOWN as call name and rang through to the answering machine. No message was left except for that lovely dial tone noise. Interestingly I have asked both verizon and my phone to block UNKNOWN calls too.

I want to know who is answering their phone and giving them their credit card number to make it so worthwhile for them to continue to do this. They have to be making money off just the phone calls somehow because there aren't that many stupid people out there to keep all the scammers employed.

Obviously the robocall criminals can spoof whatever number they want on the caller ID for their junk calls.  And just as obviously, they've figured out that NoMoRobo is their nemesis, so they've decided to spoof NoMoRobo's "report text" phone number as their Caller ID.  I sure wish that the FCC would come down (hard) on these criminals.

Same deal here. Nomorobo blocked a local number, and this number called 30 seconds later.  Blocked on my Panasonic phone and reported to Nomorobo.

From what I seen it was first a call from 608-371-6666 then a call from 423-648-4908 Wilkins research. No message on eather call. Just hang ups. These people who even would think to take a job like this are the lowest part of life. Even people that use robots to do there calling for them. All its doing is making people in some cases get rid of their phones at their homes. And that will cause jobs at phone companies that also wants to charge you more to keep your number unlisted its cheaper not to have a phone. It's just like bill collection. I don't own anything to anyone they just call numbers at random using robots or just taking a chance the number that's called is who they are looking for.

This happened to me today have not checked voice mail   a number 217-853-3092
called which I do have Nomorobo but also have a call blocking device connected to my phone.
1 minute after the 217 number called  Unknown 608-371-6666 calls.  
then later in the day the 217 number called again.  

Seems to be a "workaround" to avoid call blocking by Nomorobo.  Calls from this number immediately follow calls from numbers blocked by Nomorobo.  Caller refuses to identify themselves.

A common thread here is that most of us reporting on this number are NoMoRoBo subscribers. I wonder if somehow when an invalid number gets sent to NoMoRoBo that somehow their number ends up on the display.  I have had both valid and scam calls come in with this number and I doubt the legitimate caller would be spoofing NoMoRoBo's reporting number.

I just noticed that this is the number at the bottom of Nomorobo's REPORT A NUMBER page when you're logged in. It says: "You can also report these robocallers by calling or texting the number to (608) 371-6666".

Some bozo with a foreign accent called me saying he was from Microsoft and wanted to fix my computer. He became noticeably irritated when I told him I couldn't understand much of what he was saying. He told me he needed me to logon to my computer so he could fix it. I refused telling hiim I would do it through tech support. Then he shouted at me and asked me why did I need to do that and I shouted back telling him that Microsoft is ending their support, and asking him why they would be calling me. He tried to convince me that they are not ending their tech support and shouted some more. Then he threatened to shut down my PC. I then introduced him to "Mr. Click!"
