Phone number called my cell phone this afternoon but when I answered it, there was no reply...

This unidentified number called  to my smart phone just before. I did not receive it.

This is a message board where people discuss being called by telemarketers. I do not understand why this is such a hard concept for people to grasp.

Called and left message about car insurance rates.

I do not want to be called by this number.  Remove my name and # from their calling list, please.

Hi, I received a recorded announcement on my cell phone from this number, and I have two problems with that. The first is that my cell phone is on the DO NOT CALL list, and secondly, when I try to call them back to tell them that, I get a busy signal, no matter what the hour. I suspect that this is deliberate. As far as I am concerned, they are guilty of violating the law by calling me. I am sorry, but I don't know the name of the company. When I heard the recorded announcement, I hung up right away and then called back to expedite being connected to a live person. Thank you for your consideration of this matter. Cathleen

I also received a voicemail, advising me it would "lower" my insurance rates. Spam/Telemarketer.

Spam/Telemarketer robo dialer trying to sell me extended auto warranty on a car from years ago that is still under manufacture warranty.
