I just got this call. I looked up the site first like most people did. I was happy to see that people are posting their experience regarding this call. Hopefully someone from Verizon and other carriers is keeping an eye on this site so they can follow the situation. Please be careful. In northern MN I have heard several warnings regarding Phishing scams. Alway check unknown numbers on the internet. Thanks and Think Safe.

I have Verizon and just got the same text. I am suspicious because I just ordered a new phone and changed my plan with Verizon 3 days ago. My new phone just came in the mail, and I got this text.

Ok just spoke to Verizon and they are unaware of this, not sure if it is only verizon customers or not but call your carrier and let them know, they maybe able to track this better and nail the scum!

We have Verizon ad we both got this message, within 1 minute of each other! I opened my text but did not call, I always google before calling a # I do not know, and this is exatly why, sounds like someone got a hold of Verizons database info, time for them to step up and find a solution!!!!

same as the rest of the posters here. sounds like a phishing scam, when you call the number a recorded message says your debit card may have been used in fraudulent transactions and asks for your personal info. I hung up at that point and landed here.

I contact my cell phone carrier and they logged the information into their system. This appears to be a scam to get some type of personal information from you. Delete it, ignore it, don't call it back. It's really sickening that we have people that feel the need to scam.

same as everyone else - your attention is required. I called back on a non-cellular phone and the recording said something about "your debit card may be in jeopardy - please enter the 16 digit number on your card for more information".

That should have been 'I couldn't understand'

Received this txt message:
call@vtext.com: Good Day. Please call 16095226172 Your Attention is Requested.
I called the number, got a recording, but it kept breaking up and I could understand what it wanted me to do. So I hung up and googled it and found this site.
Thank you!
