Check out LoanSafe.org it is a free site.  It requires you to do the leg work and research on your own but it is run by attorneys and is a community of homeowners that are not only helping themselves but also helping each other.  Once again it is FREE.  If ANYONE tells you that they can help if you pay _____ dollars upfront DON'T DO IT!!  Also you can contact NACA also a free not for profit organization.

those who are in the process of modification need not worry ,they will surely get there modification...its a call centre based in india.once your file is in process your file is transferred to us where we have our own officers (american) who negotiate with their respective lender...i guess you all have some issues with indians...getting the modification should be your main concern not whether those working are indian or american...

I'm in the process of a mortgage modification with this company.  I've given them $1600  out of a $3495 charge, so far.  It all adds up after reading all of this.  When I call them the phone clearly clicks over to another country.  There names are Robinson, Smith, Jones, etc.  They ALL speak Indian.  They don't understand English that well.  When they ask me to hold on so they can transfer me to another person, it's sounds exactly like the first person I was talking to.  I aked them if they work out of India and they said that they're in Arizona and the area has a large population of Asian people.  He didn't say Indian, but they were all clearly Indian.  I gave them all of my personal information and already gave them money.  I thought their paperwork was very shady too.  It looked like it was typed on a home computer.  There was nothing professional about the paperwork at all.  I got different numbers to call different people.  The man Robinson who says he deals with getting the paperwork together, who said his name was Mr. Robinson, but now when I call him, his first name is now Robinson.  The first person I was dealing with was Henry Anderson, who of course is Indian.  I think Anderson and Robinson are the same people. I was sceptical, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.  A Mark Wallace, Indian too was the man who dealt with my personal information being protected.  He told me it was safe under The Data Protection Act of 2009 and I had to sign a T4506 Authorization Form. There was 1 form that I had to sign that said I CAN NOT contact my mortgage company AT ALL about this modification.  I don't have the first fax number that I was using, but it wasn't the same fax number that was on the copies they faxed to me (1-888-501-7892).  The loan speacialist now has my paperwork and is supposedly working with my mortgage company.  I called to speak with him at 1-800-756-1335 and there was the usual switching over of the call.  An Indian woman answered (WOW! Who would have expected that?!) .  She tried to say to me "Are you his client?", but I could not understand her at all.  She put me on hold, then came back and said that Mr. Gates is unavailable for a few days and he will call me back.  She said I should NOT call him, he will get back to me.  I'm really upset and not sure what to do from here.  They have ALL of my personal information and my bank information. HELP!!

When these people call the caller ID is a 4 digit number. It is high in your face "Send us your money."
Everyone I spoke with had a strong India accent. There last name was Miller or Jones and the one individual had two names.

Yes, they first introduce themselves as a Gov. program under Obama. As a rule Gov. programs are no charge.

I actually got the number off the television at 4 am and called. I sinitially spole to two Asian females,

We should all throw the names of the people we have talked to on this line in this site.

To all of you try running a google search on that 800 number.  The same number is also a call back number to Diamond H Enterprises/Company Casual in Hugo, OK!!!  Also, I read that the address they use in AZ is for a UPS store.  Checked it on Local.yahoo.com and guess what, it is.  Suite number and all.  Beware and don't give these people anything!

This does seem to be a scam. I am an employee of ASC. Earlier today I received a call from a borrower asking about her loan modification. She stated that a guy claiming to work for ASC had called her, stated that her modification was approved, and asked to set up the first payment over the phone. When she said she would call back, the phone rep gave her 800-266-0320 to call back on. The borrower called ASC (at the number she had been using, 877-222-7875) and spoke to me. As of today, ASC is currently still working on the modification review. There is NO approval yet.
Unfortunatly, there are many people/business trying to scam those who are in need of help with their mortgages. To anyone seeking help, please be cautious!

These people keep calling from a cell phone number that's listed as being from Texas.  And gave the same 800 number as a call back.  Same story as the first post above.  My husband called the local Attorney General's office and found out they get A LOT of calls like this.  It's a total scam.  These people may not even be in the US, so unfortunately they can't prosecute.

I got a call from this number saying they were in AZ and were a mortgage mod company working under the Obama Act. When I searched the number it is from Southern NJ. Due to a drastic change in our income  I am late on my mortgage and upside down in my loan so it all sounded good until the punchline. We can't send you anything in writing until you have given us your banking info. Of course I have their word that they won't charge me. I wonder how many people who can't afford to spend any money unnecessary fall for this scam. The company says their name is " Mortgage Payment Repair" out of Kingman AZ and I have a call back number of 800-266-0320.

Think about it. if our banks would have agreed to work with us in the first place we wouldn't have to go out and fall into a scam. Bad things happen to good people and all we look for is a break. These scam artists are predators who are allowed to contact us where ever, when ever and how ever many times they want. WE HAVE NO RIGHT TO PRIVACY.

They should have never bailed the banks out. Its our own country who is setting us up for failure and then they allow these scam artist to invade our homes and allow it because its their constitutional rights. What ever happened to all the talk about homeland security. Homeland security just isn't about protecting the borders with weapons. Remember the saying "The pen is mightier than the sword"

They got us with ouir own planes on 911. Remember folks all the terrorist were Suadi with the exception of one, they all had the box cutters on their person and permitted on the plane. Now these over seas scams use our cell phones. This is the second round. Both aimed at damaging the economy. But it is covert. Instead of planes they are using mortgages.

Give us your tired your weak and your scam artists. I guess this is considered being a schrewed at business.

Right on,tstressed.
I agree 100 percent.  It's sad how our own president allows all of this to take place.  Our country is literally bankrupting itself, especially all the work he's giving to other countries.
So glad I told the guy when I called that I wanted to check his company out first and we at least have that ability!  I need to share this with others that I know will be watching this scam on TV. And why doesn't the network stop this along with all of the other falsities? You'd think they'd have common sense to check all of this out before broadcasting in the US.

I didnt get the 60953......... #.  I just got the "anonymous" on my caller ID.  The first person I spoke with (Indian accent) was the pre qualifier.  I pre qualified (imagine that).  Passed off to the next fellow (who sounded more Southeastern Asian) wanted the info.  Soc.  Security #, checking acct #, etc.  Obviously I didnt give that info.  I told him the same as most of (hopefully all of) you.  Send me the info. He did agree eventually to send me a packet.  We'll see........

I called the 800# on the website and was directed after a couple of clicks to a female rep with a distinctively Indian accent.  She was uncomfortable and hurried when I asked for the company address.  The address is indeed the UPS store in that strip mall.  I think it's next to the yogurt shop in that same strip mall somewhere in Kingman, AZ.  I called Edward Jones Investments, also housed in the strip mall.  The rep there had never heard of this company having been a business neighbor.

Please note, the company is a big fraud.  I am loan resolution coordinator and work in a mortgage service company. Few days back I got call from this person who was authorized on the account to speak on the behalf of the customer.  As per the guidelines the account was not qualifying for a modification and hence I told her. She put her supervisor who was not authorized, so they called another person who pretended that he is the borrower and authorized the supervisor.  Every person had MTI of South India and do not know English properly.  A personal advise do not disclose your credentials to unknown people until you meet them face to face. PLEASE NOTE MORTGAGE SERVICES DO NOT CHARGE ANY FEES FOR MODIFICATIONS.  Please do not waste your money on these scams. I am sorry that I am not able to dislose my name; but I really wanted to tell everybody to be aware of this scams.
