MN FOP = Mn Fraternity of Police.  

It is OUTRAGEOUS that the police are telemarketing and being rude!  They called me previously giving me sob stories of how the police keeps me safe and why I should donate to them.  They did not tell me about the times the police are jack***es sitting on their lazy a***s doing nothing when you need them, and when theyre wasting my tax dollars giving out traffic tickets to raise money while real crimes are taking place that theyre doing very little about!

They called again today, and as soon as the guy opened his mouth, I knew it was a telemarketer.  I told him I'm sure he was telemarketing, said good bye and hung up.

This caller is shown as "MN FOP," they are looking for "donations." They called multiple times a week several months ago, and I rarely answered. When I did, they were very short with me and unhappy that I didn't flat-out give my credit card number. I asked if there was a mail-in option, and they said yes. Well, that makes it sound more pleasant than it was. He basically wanted me to promise that I'd send them a donation - he wanted to know that sending me a brochure wouldn't just be a waste of their money and time. Weeks later, I got the brochure. By that time, however, I researched the organization and saw the dozens of complaints. I threw the brochure away, and months later they've started calling me again. This time, they let it ring once and hang up. Even if this isn't a scam, the way they handle business is unprofessional and doesn't make me think "legit charity." Proceed with caution.

They call, but when you answer you can hear background noise, like a calling center, and no one ever answers me back...sure is getting annoying...call multiple times...
