Called and did not say anything

Received a call with  this number in the past month I have received to less than 10 long political HOT WIND from the Republican party.  It is my wish that no Political Parties call my home at NO TIME.  Is there a list for this.l

Received call on cell 12:00 pm in SoCal. Did not answer. Googled number and clicked on this site to see all the complaints. Obviously you should not answer this call.

I am in SoCal, 310 area code. Received call on cell from this number. Did not answer. Good advice is to not answer calls from numbers you do not recognize, but Google them to see if any complaints. That's what I did and was directed to this site with huge number of complaints. I do the same as "me 2" above. Block the number. Call came in at 1:45 pm, July 30.

I get MORE calls since the DoNotCallList was enacted.  I got a call today from (000) 000-0000.  You can't report those.  Just in the last month I have blocked 69 numbers that would qualify for the DNCL.  Most of these companies are based outside of the U.S. and are spoofing numbers.  They hope in 1000 calls to get 1 sucker to fall for their scam.  The DNCL is a joke.

Government is obviously NOT the answer.  The Govt picks and chooses the laws they want to enforce based on who is sitting in the Oval Office.

I got a  call from this number. I asked what the company name was and she said it was Debt Reduction. I asked for their website- they didn't have one. They tried to tell me they were a non-profit for debt reduction. So I asked to find out where I could find a copy of their 501C3 status. She didn't know what it was. I asked to speak with a manager and she hung up on me.

I answered this and did  a "hello?" and no response within a second so I hung up and looked here to see who or what was calling...

My solution to these annoying calls is my Panasonic answering machine.  It has many features but the one I bought it for is its call blocking feature.  First no one can call me from a blocked number.  This feature is available from your telephone company.  Next if I do not recognize the number of the caller I Google it.  If it turns out to be another annoying pest then I simply block it in my answering machine.  The next time they call from that number my phone will ring once during which time my machine checks the blocked number list.  If it finds the number it sends out a busy signal and then hangs up.  It works great.  Check it out.  My model is slightly older but this one has that same feature:

Get phone service for your home that has call blocking. At present I have 497 blocked numbers. I see today portfolio tried 5 numbers and 8 phone calls from 9am to 8:40 PM yesterday and so did 3 other 800's. I didn't even hear the phone ring. Give yourself a break you can't get harassed every day. It will drive you crazy. So get an internet phone service with call block and only give out that number. Get a cell and forward to it and NEVER give or use that number! Only use the number with call block forwarded to your cell and people can reach you on your cell. Never call back 800 something with that number. Forget the DNC list or a cell with limited blocking. What's nice about my blocking is they hear it ring and it sounds like it goes through but it doesn't ring on my end or even missed call on my cell. So this has wasted hours of collect/tele time. They have no idea they think I just don't answer and keep trying! I check my internet call log for laughs ............

The name came up as Geoge Gascon in Minnasota. I never answer calls I don't know or recognize.

I received a call on my cell phone from this number and my phone was setting on the coffee table.  No one touched the phone and somehow it answered.  So, they stole a minute from me and I can't get it back.  Fortunately, some of my clansmen live in Minnesota State.  I have informed one that this thief should be dealt with... So, telemarketer, you will be getting a "visit" soon.  Think it's a joke?

Claims they can lower your interest rate on your credit card.  Told them I was happy with my rates and they hung up on me.

Received a call from this number today. Received the same call intro with the same voice from a different number before. She started with "we recently sent you information about your credit card". Since I don't have or want a credit card, and have not received any mail about one in at least 4 years, I knew to hang up.

Clearly a scam of some sort.

Called me just a minute ago and I answered. After a full minute of silence from them, they hung up. Waste of time for them and me since I'm on a prepaid phone since I don't talk much on it, so I don't want to have to pay monthly bills for something I hardly use. Seems like some of these calls are just meant to waste time and money.

I do too. Sometimes they call 7 or 8 times. Days when they don't call i feel lonely, what they don't love me any more? You would think that when their calls are rejected they would stop calling but somehow they think on the 6th ring you may change your mind and answer the phone.

Before call reject life was hell. I still get letters from debt collectors from debts that are 12 years old!!!

These scumbags like to use a spoofed number, and of course I don't answer,  No credit cards, no interest rate LOL.

Write down their number on a post it note and flush it down the toilet, you'll get the same response from the do not call list.

Telemarketer rodeo is fun and simple, here's how to play. Get them on the line, keep them on the line, sound really interested and when you get to the credit card number part laugh in their ear and brag about how long they were wasting time on the phone with you. If everyone did their part they would lose so much money they'd actually have to work for a living.

I am a kid and got called by this number. They called didn't leave a voice mail.
