just got a call from 6129730000 and they left a vm. it was charles from us bank said to call back regarding my acct. i called him at a direct number he gave 6129732303. he said i qualified for a credit line and some financing and i said no thanks and he was nice and that was that.

smoothdog called my work looking for accounts receivable. too stinky for me to do anything but take a message. Its not muy job to find info for them

Get calls that say they are from US Bank and asking for Maria somebody. The other phone number they call from is 503-401-7455. This Maria probably had my cell phone number in the past. I returned the call once and was told they would take me off the call list. But not so. I refuse to call back any more. It may be a collection agency looking for Maria but they won't believe that I don't know who they are calling for.

I get calls daily from 612-973-0000 and when I answer they immediately hang up on me. They call at different times of the day and again ALWAYS hang up. I tried to call block this number but it wont allow me to block it. Im calling my local phone company to see if there is anything that can be done about it. Im really sick of this. If its a scam they are about to get a whistle blown in their ear everytime I see Twin Cities MN on my phone. Enough is Enough!!

Caller left no message at 10:45 am MST, 2/27/09.  I do have a small US Bank account, and seems from previous posts this could be a US Bank related call.

612-952-0000 - Woman identified herself as calling on behalf of the American Cancer Society ... she said they were collecting for our local county and could she count on me donating the same as last year.  I questioned that if she calling from Minnesota for our county and she gave a tentative, "Uh-huh."  I told her, "No" and hung up.

If I answer this call, it beeps at me, like it's a fax machine.  I get this call at least 15 times a day.  I work in a in-bound call service and I get this call everyday.  It's got to be a fax number.  If I don't answer the call, it leaves me a message everytime.  So no, it's not a bank or scam, it's a dang fax number

This number calls our business line about 3-4 times a day, when you pick up their line goes dead. No caller ID, just the phone number.

This phone number is most likely from a "call center" where the caller works for a company that calls for several different clients... One of them is "Card Member Services".  I have a business credit card and they use card member services to make collection calls.  The calls sometimes come from this number.

They called my home and cell hundreds of times.  It is a debt collector for different card companies.  The problem, it is not our debt. It was an old boss who had the card, we were just on the contact list.  They even found our private number and used scare tactics telling us we were still responsible because we used it while employeed for travel and supplies (as authorized).  I talked to an attorney and they told me to send a Cease and desist letter.  They are horrible. Lie, try to tell you you have to pay by end of month, or they will come after you. How can they get away with this? Dont answer the phone.  They use 612-973-then a bunch of different last for didgets.

I received a call from this number 5 times today on my cell, I finally answered, the gentlemen said it was urgent from U.S. Bank.  He stated it was urgent and I needed to supply him with contact information, like phone numbers, emial addresses, mailing address, bank accounts and SS#.  I hung up

If it was a fraud, no way would they say it was one. That's the whole point. To commit a FRAUD. To scam someone into thinking they were some other reputable caller.

Got a call from that number it is Card Services from US Bank, they gave a legitimate call back number

Too bad in this tight economy companies such as US Bank turn to be so unreasonable.

They lend you money, when hard times come to you, they are unreasonable to negotiate.

Like all banks, pay 1-2% interest, lend it out at 8 to 30%.

You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip, and wrecking someones credit and not willing to negotiate is no way to treat people.

I've been getting calls from this number also - with various individuals claiming to be representing my Visa account.  (I stopped paying on my visa credit card when they raised my interest rate from 8.99 to 29.7% suddenly in March).  I immediately contacted Visa when the rate increased - to let them know that I thought it was immoral to raise my rates so exponentially after I had been an excellent customer all along - but they didn'ty position and that I thought it was immoral, but they didn't care.)  

I spoke to the 612-973-0000 people once - to try to explain to them what happened, but got stone-walled.  When I called, they attempted to appear as if they were calling from my bank - but after researching the phone number, I found that they are a collection agency.  Ever since then I set my cell phone to "mute" when this number calls me.  All I have to do now is delete their "missed call" notices from my cell phone.  I suggest that anyone getting calls from this number to the same thing.

I got a call this morning from that number and after seeing your post I decided to let my dog answer it.  It was quite an interesting conversation.  Lots of barking, whining, growling, yipping, panting and other sounds I don't have a name for.  I'm now confident there's a 3 letter agency involved and I suspect they just recruited my dog.  Now my dog does nothing all day but watch me, except from time to time when he looks past me like there's someone or something behind me, but when I turn around it's gone.  I'm getting creeped out.

I returned a call from 1-612-973-0000 that came up as US Bank on caller ID and it is a voice mailbox and only gives you an option to key in an extension. I then called 1-612-973-1952 and it gives you another number to call 1-651-466-3000. A person does answer this number from US Bank (you can Google this number to confirm it is a US Bank number yourself). I told them of the problems experienced on this website and they gave me their fraud dept at US Bank. The Fraud dept confirmed that the 1-612-973-0000 is NOT a US Bank number and that they will try to fix the problem. I showed them this website while speaking with then and they saw the many responses. This help them to understand how big this problem is.
I am surprised though at the many flipant responses and bashings people post without doing any research or having a clue about what they are saying. I am not saying I have all the answers as the person I was talking with might be misinformed or maybe it is US Bank harrasing people and not wanting to get themselves in a class action liability or who knows what possibilities are out there.
