i got the same call at 1:51pm did not answer cause is a number that never has called me no messages it is a total scam now that i googled it thanks to everyone who commented on this number 6132879898 this site is very useful.

This number called and I missed it.
I tried calling back later and a recording said the number was out of service.

Just got the call now saying I won 3000 travel dollars. WTH

Got the call said I won 3000 travel dollars the recording said it was from bell. I've been getting a variation of this call for a couple of months always 2000 - 3000 travel dollars. I always hang up and call back and the number is out of service

Just received the call too. a recorded voice that said congratulations . . . I hung up before it got to the details.

I just recieived phone calls on every single phone line in our office and the company blackberries. The funny thing is we aren't even telus customers and they still call us and if they don't get their way they hang up on you right away.

Also got the same dang call - ignored it.......on my cell. - Vancouver - Telus.....someone prosecute these absolute tele-scam marketers!!!!

I received the same call on my cell.  I'm in Vancouver.  This is so wrong that a telemarketer should be able to call me on my cell as each call costs me money!!!

I just called Telus and the representative assured me that Telus is definitely not providing information to this party for the purpose of marketing or promotions but that they are working with law enforcement agencies to track them down.

613 is an Ottawa, Ontario area code. It's probably best if you ignore these calls and or go to the National Do Not Call List Website and add your number. It can or may take up to 30 days.

I missed a call on my cell at 1:48pm from this number I tried to phone within few seconds and I got the number you have reached not in service.

Today was the second time I have gotten this call earlier in the week  its funny people have nothing better to do

got a call in a Victoria at 11.44 PT on Fido cell, didn't hear it.  Good to know it's a scam so I won't call back..

Got a call from 613-287-9898 yesterday (August 4, 2010) at 11:29 am. Didn't answer it, and they didn't leave a message.

Why don't we have an actual Do Not Call registry that works in Canada?

613-287-9898 called about 12:35. VM indicated a long distance charge. Hung up. Block this caller or ignore!

I just received a call from this number at 12:09pm ET. The same message that I won $3K. Thanks to all of you now I know it is a scam...

Just got a call, didn't pick up cuz I don't recognize the number. : )

I get this caller all the time randomly, but I never pick up. My caller ID says from Ontario though.
