9:25 a.m. Initially no one was there, but after several hellos, a woman spoke.  She was calling for Capital One on probate and/or someone who was handling estate matters for a recently deceased family member.  I asked her to send me the information in the mail, and she said I should receive it in about 7 days.

After a pause a message played that said something like "This is a call about the estate of {different computer voice} Linda unintelligible } Please contact the following number ### and reference case ####. This is an effort to collect a debt." The name was unintelligible, the phone number to call and reference number were spoken once and not repeated.  We had an ex-in-law with the first name Linda die in the past year but have no financial connection with her or her estate to our knowledge.

Definitely did not mention Capital One.

We got a call from whoever it was and when my babysitter said she wasn't sure of who was in control of the estate she was just the babysitter they so rudley hung up on her. Jerk!!
