called claiming to be 'falcon investigations'; threatening to arrest me over an old defaulted account which i never had.

I got a call on my answering machine asking for a Jenifer and
there is no one there by that name. Jenifer is a 'person of interest in a civil/criminal matter'.

I live in Texas.

I got a call from someone named Edward James, saying i was a subject in a criminal matter regarding AT&T Wireless.  I currently have an account with AST&T Wireless and an not past due.  They called a family member at 6:45am, who called me concerned and angry.

I am going to report these people, who broke several laws in this effort to collect money that I don't owe.

Yes Yes. This is a scam for sure. This number had called my friend stating that they were a legal office for civil cases tying to collect an outstanding bill from AT&T from 2002.Well he never had an At&T bill from that time so It just didn't sound like this was for real. So I called them back giving them phony case # ABC1125 and the account was for a Jeremy something. I said that was me even though I'm a female and the account was for a male. They proceeded to give me the same speach that they did for my friend. Well I'm no dummy so I said ok guys tell me for real are you guys a scam? I mean really guys this isn't even me. His response to this..." Get a life you dirty little B**ch."  So they are representing at&t and trying to collect for an outstanding bill. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Received a call from Special Investigator Ms. Michael regarding a Civil complaint filed against me. Gave me the cause Number and a phone number of 614-754-6728 which gave me the voice mail box of Pearce Gallagher, 'Arbitrator" for falcon investigations.  Even when my attorney calls they cannot get an answer , just a message. My wife is a paralegal and we can find no record of any filing in our county.

I just received this call saying a Civil complaint had been filed against me and like the note above, they gave me a case number and this phone number.  I have not called because I looked this up. I haven't decided what to do, but after seeing these comments I am tempted just not to call.

Got a call a bit ago claiming to be an investigator with a company regarding a supena for a deposition in the county i live in. Left a affidavit # and told me to have my attorney return the call. It seems to be a scam by a collection agency. If my research is correct what they are doing is illegal and you can go after them. I am not returning the call

Got a call yesterday from someone claiming to be an investigator who identified herself as investigator Martinelli or Martelli regarding a supena for a deposition in the county I live in.  Left an affidavit # and told me to call back so that I can be served or have my attorney call back.  They also called by ex-husband and told him there was a civil complaint and they needed to serve me with papers.  I checked the county records and there was nothing there.  I was suspicious right away because if it was a real process server they would have a local call back number.  Anyway, I am not calling back.

someone called saying they were from a legal office and stating that we my husband opened up an account at the bank and over drew the account for a large sum of money and they were calling to collect.
We don't bank at this particular bank and have never had dealings with them. they wanted other banking information and we wouldn't give it to them.
She said her name was Karen Demartino.

Received a message from special investigator Jackie Larson claiming there was a civil complaint against someone who doesn't live with us anymore.  She left the same number:  614-754-6729.  Intellius has the number as a land line belonging to Linda in Franklin, Ohio.  We've received many calls from people probably from this same outfit.

To Anyone receiving a call from this number call the police immediately and file a police report!!!!! I called their bluff and they are now harassing me so bad it is unimagineable!!! I have been called every name in the book and now that they know I know this is not a ligitimate company, they are pissed and they even admitted they are running a scam and actually threatened me as to what I was going to do about it??  DO NOT IGNORE THIS CALL, CALL THE POLICE!!  These people need to be stopped whom ever they are, the more of as that band together the less innocent people will be hurt!! Thank You all for listening. The scary thing is I would love to know where they are getting correct information from, it is really scary but I am determined to stop these people.

Got a call from these guys too - they are debt buyers and are trying to scare people into paying onto almost expired debt - I called the TX DPS - their License has expired - they are a fraudulent company!  Call DPS at (512) 424-2000 to report them.

They called me about an old credit card debt. The amout they claimed i owed was twice what i actually owed. Plus i was already in negotiations with the bank to pay off the debt and they had never heard of these people.
its a scam. They wanted a partial payment by phone ASAP.
Her name was linda Delavia.

I received the call from Investigator Dunnaway first then I called the same number 614-754-6729 and spoke with linda delvia. she stated I had a bad check from 9 years ago and couldn't give me anymore info. I mistakenly made the 1st payment she agreed to "settle" on or serve me a deposition warrant. After researching this, I am so pissed at how many people have been scammed or attemped to be scammed. I called them back confronted them and they said they will see me in court since I demanded the future payments to be stopped. They would give me the information on my debt they were collecting ONLY after it ws paid in full. They promised an email and I never received it. That and MSNBC Dateline, had the story of fraud on there and I was being harrassed in the same manner. Leaving personal information on a machine that wasn't even mine and using my maiden name. These people scared me so bad, I can't describe it. Do not fall for it. I filed a report with the FBI and BBB. Please, help stop this or give info that it is a legitimate company.
