6148660006 appears in most posts to be some kind of scam using the name of the Mt. Carmel Hospital. It is strange that some recieve billing notices and threats from Danville VA instead of from the normal Columbus Ohio location of the main headquarters of Mt. Carmel. Somehow their calls when the answering machine picks up bives this number but no message 90 + % of the time and may leave different names if a message is left. Mostly it acts like a telemarketing call that leaves no mesasgee anod noone speaks unless the phone handset is picked up. Other sources trace this number to Reynoldsburg, Ohio which is NOT the Mt. Carmel billing address which is located on East Broad St just the other side of I270 at the Mt. Carmel East location. It is in the west most building on their campus!! NOT IN RWEYNOLDSBURG for sure!! Also Mt. Carmel is known for numerous Medicare fraud investigations so far and likely their outsource and insource personel may also face the IRS for filing loses on their bills that sre still outstanding through their billing system!! OOPS!!

This is the Mt Carmel Hospital Business Office. It is serviced by a call center, which is why it's not a normal Mt. Carmel number. They are calling to try to get you to pay your bill or set up a payment plan with the hospital. It is a legitimate number. If they are calling you in error, just let them know. I personally haven't given them payment information over the phone. You can set up a payment plan though, then pay your bill online.

seems you are also a victim of this number.  Appears to be fraudulent in nature and not a hospital.  An old scam to get money owed that you do not owe.  Besides the hospital in question is on several medicare fraud investigations and in the hundreds of thousands of $$$  or more!!  Ignore the number.

Got same type call from same number also appears to be a Mt. Carmel St.  Anns Hospital or billing office. Note that there are numerous medicare investigations against the hospital and a number of outsourcing companies whose people work there.!!

I was left with a voicemail saying to call the hospital's business office.  just another scam fishing for a richer person to hit.

I thought this was a junk call because 614-866-0006 doesn't reverse back to Mount Carmel. I'm also a nurse there and didn't recognize the number. I called it back and refused to give my information. So I called the main hospital number and was transferred back to the same person. So the number is in fact good for Mount Carmel Business office but for everyone that is untrusting like me you can call the main hospital number for Mount Carmel East 614-234-6000 and be transferred. That number can be Googled to ensure you are giving your personal information to the right people.
