I ignored the call. After reading the posts here, I called them back and got a recording. Press 2 to know the purpose of their call. Press 3 to be REMOVED from their call list. I chose 3. It's worth a try.

This is a scam. Claiming they are your magazine distributor and trying to get information from you.  They tried to tell me I was on a 60 month payment plan.  Told them I paid for my subscriptions directly from the magazine and I didn't owe any money.

The same just happened to me

Man called from this number and said he was checking with me because they had received a report of mail problems with magazines in my community.  I asked where he was calling from and he said your magazine subscription office.  He quoted my street address and asked if that was correct.  I asked him what magazine he represented and he said "Mam, we represent over 500 magazines."  He again attempted to verify the address.  I then explained to him I knew it was a scam.  We don't subscribe to any magazines and don't use a street address for mailing.  I ended the call.

It is preferred renewal service scamming you into agreeing to pay for a subsciption to a magazine that you probably didn't order and probably don't want!
