At 6:38 a.m. this number appeared on my call display.  A man asked for my late husband by his first name.  My husband died 3 1/2 years ago.  When I asked who was calling, there was a long silence and when I repeated the question, he reluctantly said "This is Andy."  When I asked what he needed to talk to him about, he hung up.

(615) 829-8133 called asking for my husband by name but when I said he wasn't here, could I take a message, the caller said she'd call back and hung up.  I tried calling the number back but got a fast busy only.  No idea who it is as reverse look up says there is no listing for it.

They call and then don't say anything when I answer. It's very annoying

I have often received calls from this number, and when we pick up the phone, either no one is there, or they do not respond to anyone when spoken to.   Additionally, if I tried to call the number back no one answers.  I checked the number out on various websites and it appeared to be coming from "Barron's Financials".  So I contacted the company and got an immediate response from the Operations Coordinator to the effect that they had no knowledge of this caller, and they were not connected with it.   I believe them.   Here is the message I received from their company:

Dear Randall,
I contacted the FCC and the FTC to file a complaint against the phone number you provided us.  I was informed by the FTC that anyone receiving calls that they are suspicious of can file a complaint.  The phone # of the FTC is: 1-877-382-4357.  If they receive enough complaints then they will investigate the calls.

I encourage anyone receiving calls from this number to also contact the FTC at the above mentioned phone number and file their own complaint to get an investigation going.
