to: upset. the Nat. do not call list is how these people get your #. they subcribe to it and get all # they want, and then make robo calls , and thats how they do it. Check with your phone co. and see if they have the New program that stops these ROBO callers from getting through. It was on yahoo yesterday and i read it. Was very int. hope this helps.. P. S. a word to the wise.. If you dont know the # that's calling you, DON'T ANSWER.

I have Verizon and just blocked the number through my Spam Filter on their website.
AT&T : If you are a customer of AT&T wireless, you can make use of a premium service called ?Parental Controls? which will allow you to limit who can call you or text you by blocking or allowing certain numbers. It costs just $4.99 per month.
Verizon : Go to VerizonWireless and log into your account. And then go to ?My Services? and choose the SPAm control. Here you can add up to 5 phone numbers that you do not want to contact you or even text you.
Sprint & T-Mobile : Currently, Sprint and T-Mobile doesn?t provide an easy way toblock unwanted callers, though there is a work-around for Sprint users. You can block all numbers which are not in your phone contacts. For this, go to Settings ?> Security ?> Others [password will be last 4 digits of your phone number] ?> Call settings. Here you will find that option.

I answered the call and it was about lowering interest rates. I do have credit cards, and they told me exactly how many cards of what kinds I have. That right there made me wonder what the heck is going on. The guy proceeded to ask me to verify my account numbers, that he had them right in front of him; I then told him that he could read me the account number and I would tell him if they were right. After a minute of arguing, he then started swearing at me, saying very improper things, and calling me names.

Ridiculous supposidly calling from your credit card company. I asked to be removed and told them I am on the National DNC list and he told me to shut up and they will be raising my interest rate on my next credit card statement. I hung up. With Today's technology, I would like to know how people still get away with this type of thing.
