Perfectly legal...but they are required to contact you so you can appear in court to speak on your own behalf. These scum suckers DO NOT DO THAT.  They need to be reported to attorney gens. Office...BBB...anyone else you can raise hell with
Just because they're big bad assed attorneys preying on those they know can't pay for an attorney of their own, they pull whatever sleazy tactics they want.  DO NOT LET THESE B*****DS GET AWAY WITH IT.

Debt Collector
I had gotten letters and phone calls from these people and they had me send in a itemized list of my income and my expenses to see if they would except my payment plan I offered them and instead of replying to that I got a paper from the courts stating they was  going to garnish my wages. so needless to say I had to move from my apartment. They are the rudest people I have ever dealt with

I sent them the information that they asked for and they were very nice to me working out a payment arrangement to pay my debt.  I worked with someone named Kacy and she was more than helpful and answered all of my questions.

Sorry, but that is all legal.  You are served with papers and if you do not answer them, a judgment will be entered.  Once judgment is entered, they can garn your bank, employer, state taxes and even seize property.  It sucks, but its very legal.

Bank garnishments are perfectly legal if there is a judgment against you.  Law offices have to follow court rules, so there is nothing illegal about it.

This number calls me night and day even on weekends=-[ I will not answer now because when I do They don't say anything but you can hear people talking in the back ground. Or they don't even bother leaving a message. They have called my sister before asking for me. My sister told them that I didn't live with her. They then told her to give them my number and address my sister refused. They then told her that I'm in a lot of trouble and if she didn't give them my information they would make sure I go to jail for a long time for an unpaid bill. My sister told them that if they ever called her again she was going to turn her and the people who work for her into the FBI for disclosing my information to her and that they violated the HIPPA Law. They never called her again. So if they are legit and are following the law's of a bill collector they wouldn't be afraid to have the FBI or the BBB look into their business. Hmmm.

This company calls all the time and never leaves a message, sorry but a legit office would leave a message. I am sick of getting 4 calls every other day, and these people do not say anything. I will not call them back, until they leave a message.

Beware of making any agreements with them unless you get it in writing they will take money from your account. Here is how they do it. they call you, badger you then get a court appointment that you do not know about and of course you do not show (because you don't know about the hearing) the judge orders a judgement cause you are not there to defend yourself so then the judgement gets sent to your bank and boom they have your money

Debt Collector
This is a debt collector misrepresenting themselves as an attorney's office.  They called me about two medical claims that have been paid in full already by insurance.  (I always pay my bills on time.)  Faxed them proof of payment in full and called the number back to verify they received the fax.  Received an outgoing voice mail indicating representatives were busy and I could leave a message asking for way more information than  necessary for an attorney to return a call.  A legitimate attorney's office does not have such an answering device - a debt collector would.  This lack of professionalism reiterates this importance of paying your bills and paying them in a timely manner.

All of you do yourselves a favor to get a little peace of mind. Get a call blocker. Google for "call blocker" and buy one of them. I bought the Digitone Call blocker and the phone doesn't ring from these scammers anymore. I was getting collection calls for someone I never heard of but they would not believe me. I was getting scammer calls from outfits like "Card Services". I was getting calls from telemarketers (and my number is on the so-called Do Not Call list). I was getting political calls. Get a call blocker. It works on the caller ID and when the incoming call matches with a blocked number it never rings the phone here. IT WORKS!

I payed my debt to Barbara Tsaturova law office back in September, she states that I missed the refund pay out for October, there for I have to wait until November to recieve my overpayment. The first lady I spoke to to my debit card information, then stated that the card would be charged 257 dollars, when called to see if the account was payed I was told yes, but was called a lier about the amount I was told would be taken from my account. This debt collector is taking advantage of people who pay their accounts, she lives and owns properties pay for with other peoples money. I probably wont even get my overpayment back.

Here is a link to their "business"  I find the part about thier staff being trained in FDCPA, quite entertaining " Our professional collectors are certified by the American Collectors Association, and all Allied employees are trained in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA). Continuous education is a big part of our corporate culture, ensuring that our team is always up-to-date on applicable state laws and local regulations".

Funniest thing Ive heard.... ever!

Barbara is a scam attorney in my opinion.  She could care less if you owe or not, or what the law states.  She needs to be someones law clerk if anything and learn more about the law.  There is a reason she is a debt collection attorney and not a real attorney, think about it.  For more information about her scams visit collectorsexposed.com

What happened in court?  They sent me a judgement to appear in court but I have been paying my medical bills directly to Spectrum Health.  I have made 4 payments so far and they want me to sign a judgement and pay them court costs.  My thing is if Spectrum Health wanted me to pay the lawyer they should not have taken my payments but they did!  I am just curious what your outcome was and if it is worth going to court or if I should sign the stupid thing and pay the bills.

I have received numerous calls from this place.  I have spoke to a chick named Judy.  Very crabby!!!!  She is stating to be calling from Richard Lobbes office, in an attempt to collect a debt.  When I stated I had no debt, she replied she needed payment in full over the phone that day or I was going to be taken to court.  I requested the information of the debt, but of course, I never received it.  The only thing I ever received was more phone calls from her.  I ask her who the debt was owing, she give me the name of the organization.  I told her I would contact them myself and verifiy the information.  She got very huffy with me.  I told her I was not going to be drug through a key hole, I would make some calls of my own.  She hung up on me.  I have tried to contact the phone number for the office of Richard Lobbes in Zeeland, Michigan.  I have left 6 messages, never received a return call.  If this was a ligit. attorney, don't you think someone would answer the phone during normal business hours or return a phone call on the next business day?  Something just don't smell right to me.  What do you think?

Yes I have been dealing with these people for pretty much a year now on medical bills. They are honestly the most horrible people I have ever delt with. They called my work and asked my employer if I was still employed there, after only missing one payment. Then they tried to sue me and I had called them numerous times and wrote them letters telling them I was having money problems and that I would pay them when I could.. They finally called me the day I was supposed to appear in court. Then I missed one month and they took it from my paycheck for 133 bucks.. If that's not pathetic I don't know what is. If you have a bill through this company I would honestly call the place you had the bill from and arrange something with them.

These people actually had our bank account frozen after I made a mistake instead of sending a payment of $40.00 I accidently sent $25.00 and they froze all our bill money in the bank causing our bank account to freeze, and be overdrawn after the bank finished with their fees our bank account was closed.  A judge really needs to check out these people or maybe the Governer.

We have been dealing with them for along time now.  They claim that we have paid the bill off, but since we used auto pay, they never told us we went $700 over the payment.  Now we can not get reimbursed!!  I don't know what to do!
