These people are very rude. They called my # and asked for someone I dont even know. I politely told them that this person does not live at this # and then the guy accused me of lying. I've gotten 4 more calls from them and told them each time to take my # off their list. Well today they called again....and again the guy accused me of lying to him. I told him not to call this # again. Started thinking about it throughout the day and decided to call them and ask for a supervisor. I got one and he was more ruder then the guy who had originally called. I told the supervisor that if someone from this # 619-564-6400 called me again that I would throw a harassment suit against them. He actually laughed at me. I told him to just try calling me again and see what happens. He told me...ok...I'll hang up and call you right back. How unprofessional this company is. I hope someone does sue them one of these days.

Just received a phone call from this number - Jessica at ARC.  She had left a pretty nasty voice mail on my work phone but when I called her back she was cordial.  I agree with the debt but due to being out of work for 11 months told her I would be filing bankruptcy-did not want to but I have no alternative.  She stated a investigation was being conducted  regarding my assets and income.

I owe everybody and I can't pay and I am lazy and fat and eat doritos all day and watch soap operas and live in the ghetto and drive a bicycle and have lice and rats and mice my kids were taken by child services my husband left me cause I am so boring I smell I lie cheat and like star trek never shower ran up all my credit cards got on welfare went bankrupt slipped and fell kicked the bucket bounced checks ignored calls bought a trak phone pay as I go with prostitution money from pimping my holes and still they think I have any coins for them?  I am broker status as broker can be, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

These jerks actually told me to get a life, get a job, pay my bills, quit being lazy etc,.  So rude.  All I want is an address to mail a cease and desist letter since I have no outstanding debt.  They quoted the name of a company that I paid off in 2007!!!  They wont give me their address, and told me that dont I have anything better to do than keep asking them for it.  I told her I was recording her, and she said, you dont have my permission to record, I said keep talking, and insulting me, because you are in violation of the FDCRA and she hung up.  Anyways, I found their address online, even though they are required by law to state that it is a call from a collection agency, and blah blah blah, she laughed an said are you serious, you spend all day avoiding debt collectors you shoould get a job and pay your bills.  That is a clear violation of Federal law.  I am not looking for work, but I do have time on my hands, and think I will sue these jerks.  I will continue to record their calls for evidence, and since it is a civil matter, my recordings will be allowed in court.  And by the way, the maximum damages are $1,0000 for the victim of unfair credit collection acts.  So, I will just file that case without an attorney, and we will see who owes who.  Cant wait for a good battle.  I will keep you posted on what happens.

This company calls daily and when i answer there is never anyone on the other line just a automated voice telling me to call them back i always hang up if they want to talk then they need to have real person on the line im a mother of four and i don't have time to play phone games all day ...... They have since started calling my mother in law and asking to speak with her husband how cruel can they be he has been dead for over three years and it is beyond me why they would torment an old lady by calling and asking for her husband of 54 years that is know longer with us

Jessica from this company called and left a message stating she was looking for a friend of mine and it was urgent that person get in touch with her. When I answered that I didn't know who the person was she was looking for she actually told me I was lying and I shouldn't be covering for this person or I could get into trouble too.
I hung up..it was ridiculous

This number call me and said that they would come to my house and woop my a** if i hung up on them, and i said come over here and try.He hung up on me, never heard from him again.

I received the same call today.  They actually called a neighboring home to send someone over to give us a message.  A perfect stranger to my home.  The gentleman by the name of Ed Bell was the most rude and obtuse man I have ever talked to.  

I asked the man if he slept at night!  I don't understand how they think it was okay to send someone out to my home to give a message..someone that now knows our full name and where we live.

He called my business asking for xxx yyy.  I informed him there is an xxx, but he is out making deliveries (as part of his job), he asked when he would be back, I looked at his area code, and he went on to ask my name.  I gave him my name and his attitude warranted terminating the call.  I informed him I did not appreciate his obnoxious rude behavior, was asking too much and as we do not serve his area, I was terminating the call and then hung up on him.  So far, no further calls, I think he got the message.

Keep calling for my son, they have his number. Very rude and on some days will call 6 times, sometimes 1 minute later. He should pay his debt, but I don't know what they think harrassing me is going to get them.

I just this morning received a call from a lady from "ARC" who asked to speak with a "Mr. SameFirstandLastNameasMine." I said I was he, then she said can we resume to get this situation taken care of?  I said I had no idea what she was talking about.  She asked if I was Mr. SameFirstNameDifferentMiddleInitialSameLastName with last four digits of SSN different from mine.  When I said was not he, she apoligized and hung up.

Yes, these people are very rude and unprofessional.  They don't even have common sense to address you by name or ask for who they want, just begin speaking aggressively.  These tactics that they are taught are inappropiate and ineffective.  I just hang up or don't even answer, at which time they leave threatening messages but I didn't know to contact the attorney general.  I will do that.

I dealt with Absoulute Resolution- To me, they were nice. I mean I had a debt that I didn't pay. I took responsiblity for my actions and guess what.... They quit calling!!!

these people are ridiculous. they have called me repeatedly at work, harrassed my parents. now they are telling me its a criminal case. which is totally against the law...I am contacting an attorney to file suit under fair reporting credit act. then when they call me again...theres going to be a  criminal case no doubt but its not going to be against me. watch out mr. march...the heats on you.

I have received about 3 phone calls from ARC. The part that is WONDERFULL is they are for my friend. He listed me as his contact referance number. He has since changed his number and they still have mine.  I have tried to tell them that I dont know him anymore, we are no longer friends on another call,I have even thought about giving them the number for the police dept in my area. But after being yelled at today,due to them informing me "how can you not be friends anymore" I just gave in and gave them His number. Probably not the best thing. But I have already done bankrupcy once, Ive done the harassing phone calls for my own debt. Now my friend can answer his own calls. we are adults. and we have to deal with our own problems. I cant keep covering for him, just so he can get out of paying his bills. Or what ever this is.
I have however called the BBB they told me to call the (FTC) Federal Trade Commission. Then they told me to contact the Consumer Protection Agency.  I have listed the harrassing phone number thru all these contacts. I have asked the company to remove my number. ( we shall see)

SOLICITOR CALLING FOR SOMEONE ELSES NUMBER

I received a call, looking for my daughter.  I hung up on "william white", who promptly called right back saying."!I KNOW you didnt hang up on me..  I told him, I THINK I JUST DID"  Asked for my daughters #, and I told him I wouldnt give him the time of day much less her #.  I hung up again and he called back again.  

He then called her at work where she is a nurse, and her supervisor told him its against FL law to harass someone at their place of employment.  He said. "YOU DO WHAT I TOLD YOU, OR You will regret it. I think thats considered a threat.  Contacted the attorney general.   I think they really overstepped there boundarys now.   Threats are taken seriously.

Similar to other postings, this was an "urgent business matter" and needed to call him back immediately.
