I received the same message as everyone else about receiving my resume and trying to reach me.  I replied with STOP in the text and immediately received an email which states "climber.com: You have opted out and will no longer receive messages from this source. RESUME to subscribe. Contact 619.618.4201. Pwr'd by CDYNE"
I don't remember ever subscribing to this job site but this made the texts stop.

In my case, the call came from a resume writing branch of Climber.com. They had offered me some free pointers for rewriting my resume, which I used to rewrite it myself, but I never responded to their texts because I made the changes already. Plus, I'm also seeking a job and don't have cash available for their service, and I'm quite sure they're trying to extract money from me. I don't mind, I think it's legit. I just am not in a position to be laying out cash right now. I hope this helps. Cheers!

March 6, 2014 5:30pm:  Just received a text message "We tried to contact you regarding your resume, please give us a call at 619-618-4198".    I googled the phone number and am finding that this is a SCAM.  Yesterday, I received the first scam telephone call from 585-633-1792 from Dexter Cruz, Investigator, IRS.  He told me that I was being arrested for owing money to the IRS.  I was SCAMMED out of $800.00.  Now, I'm wondering if this number and the 619 number are related.

Received suspicious text message indicating:
"We tried to contact you about your resume, please give us a call at 619.618.4198"

I believe this to be an attempt by Climber.com to try and get me to pay for "professional" resume services ($700.00+) as I received daily emails from them asking me to contact them because they reviewed my resume and "found serious problems that could be keeping me from getting hired" kind of crap/scare tactics.

It is a resume builder service. $80 to 1k to build a resume.

When I did reverse look up it showed it was a collection agency. Nice that they are preying on us when we NEED jobs. I did get the same text as everyone else from the 858 number asking me to call the 619 number to discuss my resume. Well I won't be calling and I've already blocked the texts. I'm going out to climber and canceling the "free" trial as it has been way more trouble than it's worth. That's what I get for not researching the company ahead of time.

Got the same as everyone else, incoming text from 858 634 9220, We tried to contact you regarding your resume, please give us a call at 619 618 4198.  Even though I am job hunting and submitting resumes all over, I thought this smelled like BS.  Sure enough.

Received anonumous txt from 858-768-2365-with a 619--618-4198 number to call for a resume submittal on Dec 11, 2012.  After further research I see where others have received the same text & instructions.  There is no notation of the company.  The numbers message only says its a resume review & to leave a message ?   Please advise if this is a legitimate company.

i think there is a company using this number to get the legit phone number list. whoever calls them back, they just keep their number in their database as a valid number and use it for telemarketing purpose. not sure but i also received the same message and i just deleted that.

I feel you on this.. My resume is out there for help in finding a job. NOT getting harrassed unnecessarily, I've enough of that for not getting my bills paid on time. I'm already stressed about finding gainful employment (so I can pay those bills that wont stop coming til I start working again) and no more is needed from people trying to get my info to mess up an already bad credit.

same deal with me.  i have had climber services for about 2 weeks now and this is the first text.  but a bunch of emails saying i have not reviewed my resume in which i actually did.  I emailed that person from climber back as it did not appear to be an automated email.  i have received 3 emails saying i havent viewed it.  i have emailed the same "person" 3 times stating i have and no response from any of them...i also noticed they only looked at the latest employer on my resume and only used examples from there.  so they did not actually perform a true analysis.  i have had a few people look at my resume that are legit and executives in other fields and after some tweaking stated my resume was strong.  climber instantly said it was terrible.  beyond.com resume analysis actually said it was a strong resume as well as a couple other services.  they all have their little list of suggestions BUT climber basically said, it sucked and I wouldnt get a job unless i spent $600 for them to reconstruct.  beyond.com said they would do it for $100 which is about the standard I am seeing.  def. not $600.  thats a rip off.  now for their other services and website, i see it as useful.  dont know if its $40 useful but im not finding opportunities right now and any little bit of an advantage helps.  
as for the number, dont plan on calling it back.

Yup same here, it's Climber.com. I signed up, paid the $40, and 5 mins later got an email ripping my resume (which was prepared by a professional recruiter btw) to shreds. They DID offer to rewrite it for the paltry sum of $600!! I think NOT!! This is a scam!

I got the same text message from the same number. Same VM when I called back. This has to be a scam. Just wanted to add my voice to the chorus.
