They said they were wanting donations for cancer told her we gave to hospices here and asked to be as removed from there call list will see if they do

I just got a call from this number and did not answer.The caller id said "San Diego call" and since I do not know anyone in San Diego, I didn't answer. They did not leave a message.

I've been doing something similar, but with a location name--that's not a good idea--they asked for my surname--repeated myself--they said sorry and hung up--only problem is you don't know when you answer if a robo or not--by then they've got you

I  keep getting calls from this number. The government should make all these unwanted calls illegal. I would like to see what these people would feel when someone calls their home when the are trying to have a peaceful dinner, or a quiet time at home.  I have a "no call " number, but somehow, these calls keep getting through. I downloaded nomorobo.com after complaining to Time Warner about these pesty calls.  It works!  My home phone will ring once, then that's the end of the call.  Set your phone to only ring 2x or less so nomorobo can pick it up instead of you!

I recieve several calls a day from many different numbers, they say nothing and hang up. I started keeping record of calls and checked the numbers with this website. Almost all of the annoying calls were from a service company  Innovative Teleservices that provide telemarketers for a variety of calls ,fund raising , surveys ,etc. I decided to go to the source . I looked up Innovative teleservices number and called them . They apologized and put my number on THEIR donot call list. I will let you know if it works. Their phone number is 810-989-5867.

Received call from the same number, told person on the other end of line your number has been recorded by way of caller ID and is being sent to the state Atty. Gen. for prosecution under this state do not call list. Hopefully that'll put an end to it but I have reported it

Yes the Do Not Call list does exist, but scammers do not abide by it.  If they purchase the list, they know they've got legitimate numbers.  NEVER answer a call you do not know, if you do your just telling them you are someone to call.

Got a call from these bottom feeders tonight. My phone is blocked by NOMOROBO but the phone still rings once. This is an invasion of scam that all of us are suffering through. If I wanted to donate to any charity, I would do it on my own, don't need a phone call. STOP CALLING US!!!

I never contribute to "professional fundraisers" because they rarely give more than 10% of collections to the charity and I wouldn't support this charity because of their conscious reliance on such an inefficient collection method.

Called at 7:52pm today, left no message. I read a few posts about it here, and decided to call back. An automated message explained that they were Innovative Teleservices customer service line, and were contracted out to raise funds for charities. It went on to say that they would be calling me back within the next few days. Also should note that it says "If you are on the National Do Not Call List, and are wondering why we are calling, it's because charities are exempt from the list.".... Maybe so, but they aren't a charity, they are a contracted company- so shouldn't they still have to obey DNCL?

No one honors Do Not Call numbers any longer.   Buy a shrill whistle & earplugs.

The # 619-819-7073 called today, & took a few seconds to answer. Finally they say Hi this Dominic, can I speak to so & so. I say who is this, they ask for another name. I didn't verify one way another as to who he was asking for. They say they're calling from Michigan after I ask them. Caller ID shows San Diego. I tell him this, and he says what?? I finally get him to say that he is calling from the childhood leukemia association. I say I don't have time for this and hang up. So tired of these calls.

Received call from 619-819-7073. No one says anything and if you call back it says please call again. We have also gotten  calls from them at work. I am the receptionist and they call after hours, leave up to 32 messages, but say nothing. I have to waste time erasing and listening to all of these. we are on the no call list. Isnt there something that can be done to stop this harrassment?

Received a call today from this number which had San Diego ID  number which has been indicated is spoof number. As one person has indicated these scum telemarketers call claiming to be asking for money for some charity . From other calls I have received from this number and other fake numbers  if they are claiming to be collecting money for a charity from what information I have found the charity only receives 10 to 20% of the contribution . The other money  goes to telemarketers. Never agree to give money or personal information  to person who claims to be collecting for a charity.

Got a call from this # man identified as from Children Lukemia Foundation. I just hung up. Scam for sure.  Also I blocked the call in case they call again.

Same here. She said Children's Leukemia fund. I just said I don't give money on the phone. I was starting to hang up when I heard her same something about not wanting a donation. yada yada yada as I hung up.

Legitimate fund raisers most certainly can and do call numbers on the Federal Do Not Call list because they are exempt and not even allowed to have access to the list since that law was designed to cover only sales calls. The only telemarketers who can register for and receive access to the DNC list are those selling goods or services or qualifying sales leads for a third party.  Fund raisers, most surveys, political calls and debt collectors are not covered and therefore not given access to the DNC list.  Other rules cover their activities but not the Federal DNC rules.
