I just received the same message from "Mark Rollins" from 619-842-7071 about my MacBook Air. I didn't have a good feeling about his request to text my phone number so I checked it out on line and found from the rest of you my suspicions were well founded. I hope whoever this is scamming honest people gets bone cancer. It's always wise to check out your suspicions when conduction online business. Bless the rest of you.

I got a response for my MacBook posting on craigslist from "Mark Rollins" (619) 842-7071. I made the mistake of emailing him back before checking his #. I'm hoping he doesn't contact me again after reading all the problems people are having.

I too got the exact same email from Mark Rollins fro my iphone 5. So glad I googled before giving him my number.

Yup, just got call from him June 29th. I even talked with him on phone, with very latent responses, and he wanted me to send ASAP. I'm not sure how his scam would work unless someone sent him something without payment, or unless he's using your information to hack your paypal.

Got a same text from this a*****e trying to scam me.  I have a phone listed on craigslist for sale.  Burn in hell you nigerian scammers...grrrrrr

Posted in Craigslist as I was selling a new iPhone 5, got a reply and started to text this number. Figured I would just Google it, and I came upon this. I knew it was fraudulent to begin with, as s/he offered $100 over my asking price. Information is going to be reported to the authorities.

He just sent me an email regarding my Sony Vaio Laptop. Did a quick search of his phone number just to get a little background and found this thread. Thanks for the heads up!

Scammer! he tried to get me to sell him my Iphone 4s but it was just as you said. Bogus email. WATCH OUT EVERYONE.

I also was selling something on craigslist and he messaged me asking for my number too.

"Mark rollins" On craigslist wanted to buy my galaxy s3. He was offering $600 for it, very pushy. HE IS A FRAUD!!! He cused at me many times and kept repeatedly texting my phone. This is the other number he uses: 587-774-2693. He has you send the package to nigeria. You will get emails confiming everything but it will be in your spam folder. He says that happens and its normal. HE. IS. A. FRAUD.!!!!
