I found them in the help wanted section on Craiglist. They were looking to hire carpet cleaners.

I wonder whats up with the fruit basket?

When I came home from work yesterday I saw a green note on my door that says "For You a Beautiful Basket of Fruit" and a little check mark next to "Kindly Phone," but there is no business name, just a phone number and time to call between. DEFINITELY A SCAM SO STAY AWAY!

I got the note left on the door.  And the very next day as I was coming home from work they were walking Scripps Ranch.  They stopped me.  Begged me to let them clean a room at no charge and they would be paid by their boss.  No uniform, no identification, no cleaning supplies.  I questioned them and they said that the other guy was across the street with the truck but they would go get it.  I said no and told them I was going to look them up and why doesn't the flyer have your boss' name and telephone number.  Then they came out with the green note about the fruit basket.  I told them straight that this was posted as a scam.  And they said it wasn't a scam that it was legitimate.  I told them no and they just went on to knock at my neighbor's door.  Scary!!!!  Watch out.  They are in Scripps Ranch.

I am glad I googled PCS DISTRIBUTION CENTER SAN DIEGO, before even calling them.

Well I am writing to inform all of you from
reading your comments above that you people are crazy. I received my pink flyer today 06142011 and I called 619-928-7753 and they answered promptly. They scheduled my gift between 5pm-6pm and let me tell you people I am very happy with my gift. Apparently you do not appreciate others who are working very hard to make a living. Your judgement and bias opinions hurt others. My home smells wonderful and clean, very clean! I got my fruit gift basket too and it was worth every minute visiting with the kindest people who just are trying to make an honest living..I am here to say this was a gift and bless the hearts of those that are doing this for others. Get of your laurels and find a job will you instead of being overly critical and extremely untrusting..where is your faith and hope, I pray for people like you! Stephanie

unknown number calling

Its a scam. Google PCS Distribution Center San Diego. You will find plenty of info. They were using a different number until recently. Gee I wonder why

I got a cheesy sales note left on my gate that it was a second attempt to deliver a fruit basket.  I called the number just in case.  After being placed on hold I sensed something wasn't right and hungup.  After doing some research on-line I learnt this company has very unethical sales practices.  I placed the not in the round file.  End of story!

I received there note this afternoon. I work at home and had the security door locked and the door opened. No way did they try and deliver a basket of fruit.
Did not call looked the number up on line first and saw it was a scam!

I received it two days ago without knowing about it, i tried to call again but the line was busy. Whoever left this note has access to military bases because I live one.   619-928-7753 officially doesn't exist. there is no trace on it.  whoever is trying to pull this off knows computers and knows technology and maybe even a former employee on this base or even a former militant. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES CALL THIS NUMBER AT ALL. IF THESE PEOPLE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT YOU SUCH AS PHONE NUMBER OR EMAIL, THEY CAN EASILY STEAL YOUR IDENTITY, USE YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS, LIVE YOUR LIVES WITHOUT YOU EVEN KNOWING. A note was left on my door yesterday.  What is the scam?  I'm not calling them because I have read all the information here, but really what are they trying to achieve; what exactly is the scam?

Received a notice today and yes what a cheesy notice. Fifth time I've been scammed this month, not by this company but still.  This is Bs.
