David Whipple called me at work a few minutes ago.  Stated he did not hear my voice mail message and asked that the message be forwarded to the intended recipient (me) and the payroll department.  Are these people able to garnish my wages?

I am sitting in the Hospital room being interviewed by a Neurologist, because of a medical condition. The phone rings, he answers the phone tells the caller he is a Doctor and he was interviwing a patient, which was me. So he ask them to call back in 35 to 40 minutes, they caller acts as if they couldn't understand what the Dr. was saying, so he hands me the phone. I say hello who Im I speaking with she says I am calling from Global Mediation. I say excuse me Ma'am but I am in the hospital and I am talking with the Neurologist. I will call you back, she then tries to over talk me. I hang up the phone. She then call back several times, and then she calls my cellular phone. They also called the day before. Still was in the hospital, I attempted to ask what company do they represent, they will not tell me. So in return I will not give them any information.How can I stop this or at least get them to identify the company they are representing?  12-08-11

David Whipple called stating he is calling from the Indian Health Service in Eagle Butte South Carolina, then he corrected himself saying South Dakota. Needing information regarding my payroll and date of hire and termination. Who is this organization. I dont appreciate being harrassed at work or home. I will be forwarding this information to the Tribal Criminal Investigator on my reservation.

I received a call from these people who said they tried to reach me at work and are now calling my home number. My work does not give out phone numbers. The man left a message to call him back. After reading all these messages I will not pick up the phone. Thanks.

I called back this company and they would not give out company name, or id.  The did want my phone number.

What if its somebody else's debt?  People call here looking for "Rachel Reinhardt" continually.
If you haven't noticed the economy sucks and people don't have money.  In the future, post only relevant comments, not sock-puppet quips.

This is debt collector (?) posing as someone working on an "application".  They are rude and aversive with questions that they should answer, who and why.

These people are calling my work number and leaving messages. How do you report them? I have no idea who they are and why they are calling.

This people call me threatening to call my job harassing me.  I told them I have retained an attorney and they still call.

don't dodge the calls, harass the caller, ask them dump questions like what are you wearing tonight, what did you eat for supper, do you know where the nearest grocery store is, don't answer any of their question, YOU KEEP ASKING THEM QUESTIONS UNTIL THEY GIVE UP....HAVE FUN WITH THIS, THIS IS A FAKE COMPANY.....SO WASTE THEIR TIME AND ENJOY BEING A BI***.
I use to be a licensed bill collector they have very strick laws they must follow: ask the following questions:
what is your name:
what is the account number:
what is your title 8 collector license number (by law they must give it)
and ask if they are a collection agency (again they must answer this)
record down their phone number and info, call them back and harrass them.

All you need to do is demand to know if they are a collection agency, their name , their license #.... if they were a real company they must answer this,   they are a fake company....be a jerk to them and harrass them instead

I just got a call from intl homes  620-728-1486 ( it was national credit adjustors) as a licensed bill collector I know title 8 laws. I asked the name of the caller and she was rude and refused to answer, she tried to badger me, so I demanded to know are you a bill collector...they must answer that question, she hung up. Now 2 rules of T8 have been broken: you must id yourself and you can not hang up on the debtor (no matter what).

Wrong, they have no reason to be calling me...My bills are paid...they are calling for a third party on my phone.

This number calls my cell phone for a third party. This needs to be stopped.

I am constantly dodging collection calls because they are so cruel and won't work with you and call at work etc but I accidentally picked up this call one day at work and had to deal with it then.  Jaylene was the nicest collector that I ever had to deal with!  She understood that I couldn't pay until my next check and set up $50 payments from each check to pay it down and they are not charging interest because they feel the payday loan fees are astronomical enough.
This doesn't make me think all collector are suddenly nice but it's so refreshing to work with one that works with you!

These people called a friend of mines cell phone earlier today asking for me. They wouldn't tell him who they were or what it was baout, just that it was important that I call them and urgent that he pass along the message. Being a good friend he did but since I didn't recognize the # , knew I had never given out this friends info as a reference or contact #, and had no further info as to what it was in regard to I googled the # before thinking of calling it back.
How in the world did these people get my friends cell phone #???
I've advised him to report it and I am reporting it as well.

They keep calling me at my job and my cell phone...   any help

They called, but did not leave a message. The caller ID came up as INTL Homes.

My call ID said INTL Homes.  I'm a receptionist at a manufacturing company.  We don't have anything to do with homes.  Who are these people.  So annoying that businesses can't be listed on the Do Not Call list.  Why do I have to put up with all these annoying calls.  They're not going to get anything from the company I work for.

This # called me and harrassed my husband about a bill after he explained we don't have the means to pay and hung up on them and they called back and said they were going to call everyday.

These people call every day . They are very rude and call twenty times a day anytime day or night.

They keep calling about a debt that I owe to a pay day loan company that I never heard of or applied for. I had stopped the payday loan company from taking my bank account because they stole my information. Now I'm being sued by NCA you says that I signed the contract with my E-Mail address. WTF,
