this number has been calling my home phone everyday for the past week. i never answer (most of the time i'm not home anyways) and they never leave a message. i don't know why they are calling me but it's ridiculous!

They call every night. Caller ID says agua fria az. I picked up the phone and didn't say anything and a man said,"Laura, Laura?? Is Laura there?" When I didn't say anything, he hung up.

caller ID comes up as Century Link. I have learned to not answer ANY calls i do not recognize the caller. They are all solicitors or recordings. I have turned off my answering machine.

These idiots do not know what 'don't call us' means. They have called repeatedly since phone service was established.
They have resorted to identifying themselves as CENTURYLINK, our local phone company for the past week.

I received several calls from this number, but they never left a message. I called the number and got a recording stating that they were calling me with a "very special book club offer". Their automated system does give the option to be placed on their internal do not call directory.

As Jenn said, they called several times and hang up without leaving a message. The number is a landline in Phoenix, AZ, where many call centers are located.
When I called back, the message said it was a "very special book club offer."
I am on the Do Not Call list. They started calling soon after I ordered some books through Amazon.com, from third-party vendors. So I believe Amazon passed my phone info to them or to a vendor, who in turn passed it on to them. Even though I selected the options to NOT receive any marketing.

calls every other night after 8PM,when I answer lady asked for my husband,told her he was not home and what was this about she said it was for his book club,he does not belong to a book club.

They call everyday between 6pm & 7pm and at least 3 times a day on weekends. Very annoying!
