It's Discover Card collections.

This is Discover Card and they will call up 10 times a day. Most of those they just call and hang up. Maybe 2 out of 10 there will be a person on the line.
They call 7 days a week and start just after 8 am until 9 pm.

I received a call from this number today. I have been receiving (multiple) calls from this number on a daily basis for months. Today was THE FIRST TIME A MESSAGE WAS LEFT. A lady identified herself as Pam from Discover Financial Services. She said she left a message yesterday and din't hear back from me. SHe said she has special programs that I might be interested in, but I NEED TO PICK UP THE PHONE AND CALL HER TODAY!!! (this was said in a threatening manner).  She asked I call her back at 6236432727 or 8003477565. I am well aware of the fact that Discover has numerous Financial programs (other than their credit card). I did not return the call nor do I have any intention of doing so.

I still am not sure just who is calling from this phone number, but I might know if they would leave a message that consists of more than 7 seconds of silence.

No answer.

I received a call from this number earlier. Similar to "Another Case", this call did not show up in my "missed calls" section. There was a message on my voice mail which was very scrambled and there were beeps throughout. What I could hear of the message said "this is an important message. deals. success. call back at 623-643-2727 before 8:00 PM". As "Another Case" stated, "How stupid do these companies/individuals think some people are?". Do they really expect me, or anyone else to answer to a message that is barely distinguishable and has no identifying information, such as company name, individual name, etc.?

I received another call from this number earlier. The number did not shop up on my caller ID under missed calls. What did show up, in my voice mail box, was a two second message of pure silence. Does Discover Card (if this is who this number REALLY belongs to) expect anyone to return a call that does not show up on a caller ID device and leaves a message of dead silence? The only way I knew what number called is as I was retrieving the message, I got the information as to the date, time, and number called from. How stupid  do these companies/individuals think some people are?

I received a call from this number earlier today. I call this number back and I got the same answer that all agents are busy, then within a minute, a human being got on the phone, and said "Discover Card". I promptly hung up. The message they left was was demeaning and threatening. It said, in part, "we have been trying to get in touch with you for several months, but you refuse to pick up your phone. We have a program that you may be interested in, but you really need to pick up your phone and call us at
623-643-2727, and you need to call us TODAY! The voice was demeaning and threatening. I know that Discover Card offers all sorts of special programs (other than their credit card services). If they ever call back, I will return their call when they state exactly what type of program is so specail, and why I need to call them TODAY!. If it has something to do with a credit card, and they are unable to verify the account number, I would take that as a phishing scheme. I left the call type as unknown because I am not sure if it is a telemarketer or a debt collector.

Received a phone call from this number this morning. When I call back, I got a message saying all agents are busy. Does anyone know who this number belongs to?
