It is TFS. I'm 3 payments away from owning my wheels and I get 2-3 calls a day nonstop. THEY WANT THEIR MONEY is right.

Toyota will send your information to collectors.  Then you get this:  I get calls from over 15 collectors asking for someone else--months and months and months of calls all day long.  I sent certified cease and desist letters.  I took photographs of the calls, got an attorney, notified the ftc., the calls continue.  People need to get fed up enough and call their Congressman or e-mail their Congressman to do something about this, what I call, domestic terrorism.  The only thing that stops these calls is disconnecting the phone wire.  I have read online where some people who have settled with debt collectors found charges on their bank accounts from unknown sources months later.  Don't talk to these collectors, period.  If you owe money, talk to the original creditor.  Rest assured, I will never buy anything with a Toyota name.  The funny part is, I have perfect credit and was looking at a new Toyota to purchase.  Being harassed because collectors call anyone with a working telephone line has convinced me to buy USA.

Toyota Financial. I have been making my payments on time for the last 6 or so months and they still call with a "payment reminder" when I haven't been late on a payment in over half a year. I'm not sure why they do this, I don't remember signing up for a payment reminder service and I will pay when I am ready to.

I have, unfortunately, had to deal with these idiots for some time now. I got behind on my payments for a while due both my husband and I getting laid off within a couple of months of each other. I have since gotten caught up and have scheduled regular payments online, but THEY STILL KEEP CALLING! At first I would answer their calls and point out that I have the regular payments schedule for several months at a time and that they have accepted this payment schedule. They looked it up and said "Okay" and that they would stop calling. Yeah - right! I have stopped answering their calls. I get several a day from different numbers - all Toyota.

Thanks for the information. Yes it's Toyota and I will never buy from them again. You can be 5 minutes late on your payment and they still call you. You pay them on time and they still call you and when you call to complain, well good luck and then when you get through, it is amazing how there is never a supervisor on duty. They are out to lunch, not around or on vacation. Yeah right!!!

Toyota is not very friendly financialy so screw them. When i seel my truck, I will never buy Toyota again. Other car makers were never like Toyotas finance center. F*** them. No wonder they are having so many problems.

They call and hang up when I answer.  I've gotten several calls today and that's all I get.

I'm so glad it's not just me! The good thing is that Toyota allows a grace period with their payments the bad news... they constantly call with payment reminders! Some days I receive 8-10 calls... every hour or so from two different area codes (this is one of them). I won't deal with them anymore directly on the phone. If I ever buy another car from Toyota I definately will not finance through Toyota Financing.

The last time I did speak with someone directly on the phone. She was extremely hostile and demanded to know my work phone number and other information I wasn't about to give them. I leave them one phone number, my cell and tell them I'm self employed (which is true, though I also have two office phone numbers... like I said not about to give those out!).

As others have said, they have a hard time with pronouncing your name and in my case mine is VERY simple to pronounce.  The young immature girl on the line with me today (09/13/2007) was inconsiderate and unknowledgeable, and refused to tell me if she was working for a contracted 3rd party or not.  I honestly felt she couldn't comprehend what such is, and thusly kept saying that they work for Toyota.

She threated to ruin my credit report at which time I threated a heavy lawsuit, as I told her that I had just spoken with the ACTUAL company of Toyota last week and had requested and received a extension (deferment) on my loan due to a recent medical illness. She continued to be inconsiderate and rude with her inquiry of Toyota sending me paperwork to sign.  I informed her that I had just received said paperwork yesterday, mailed it out today.  Can these morons add?  Can they comprehend?  This is my first time of buying Toyota.  This will unfortunately be my last as well.  

Maybe we should've finished in WWII.

I GET CALLS FROM THESE NUTZ & THEY CANT EVEN PRONOUNCE NY NAME CORRECTLY. I STARTED TELLIN EM "HE IS NO LONGER HERE.I PAY MY CAR PAYMENT BY SNAIL MAIL & EVERY CALL IS A "PAYMENT REMINDER" WHEN I TELL EM I ALREADY SENT PAYMENT, IT'S LIKE YOU JUST PEED ON THEIR PANCAKES.NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, BUY A TOYOTA, NEW OR USED THRU THEIR FINANCE DEPT.THEY'RE LIKE A VALET AT A HOBO CONVENTION !!!

626-599-3533...KEEP GETTING CALLS FROM THIS #, IT;S TOYOTA, BUT WILL NOT TELL U WHAT THEY WANT, I ALWAYS PUT EM ON HOLD & SAY I'LL GET SO SO,THEY KEPT CALLING ME AT HOME FROM THINGS LIKE WARRANTY, RECALL STUFF & PAYMENT REMINDERS,& AT 7,OR EARLIER IN THE MORNING ON WKENDS,I CHANGED MY HOME # & WHEN THEY CALL ME AT MY WORK #, I HAD MY SECRETARY TELL EM I'M NO LONGER WORKING HERE,& TO TOP IT OFF, THEY CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE MY MANE RIGHT.

Got a call from this number on Saturday Aug 4 2007 at 11:14am Eastern. The caller id said "Toyota Financial". Must be creditors looking for their money! I better run and hide before they break my kneecaps!
