Call from this number. Said they were affiliated with BOA home loans (I'm in process of refi with BOA) and needed to verify information on my credit report. Told them no. Called BOA and they had no knowledge of this company.  Tried to call # and received message that mailbox was full.

I got a call from this number. no voicemail. they called again 5 minutes later and some arab guy answered asking for william. I told them that it's not william's phone and to never call me again. (i have had a ton of collections people call my phone for william) Anyway, he said you don't know william? and i was like, no, he asked if it was a cell phone and i said yes, don't ever call me again.

Got a call from a confident young man who stated he was from one of my credit cards and they were updating info on my account. He asked what I did, how much I make and then asked about how I paid for some high ticket items (I refused), then asked about liquid assets (I refused), then he said, "Well, I'd hate to damage your good credit by leaving out this information." I asked for his supervisor, he placed me on hold and I hung up after a minute. Idiot.

Just got a call from this number...didn't leave a message.

got call, same as guys above, no voicemail, called it back and mail box said full. weird

got a call from this number asking for my fiance, she hasn't ever put my phone number down on any of her paperwork.

I asked him who it was he said"Charles" i asked him what did he want. he said "he wanted to speak with her". I then told him I don't have contact with her any more, i then asked him who he was with he said "F.I.A." i asked him what that was he then got rude and said "i just want to talk to her and your asking me all kinds of questions just let me talk to her".

I told him "F*&^ Y@#" and hung up. This is the 3rd phone call i have gotten from this number.

Kept getting text messages to call this number.  No thank you.

Got a call and the person wanted to clarify my address. Called back and no answer. Super strange!

Got a call from this # - no message was left.  I had recently lost a credit card so tried to call back just to check.   Call went straight into a voice mail that was "full".  There was no company name identified nor an individual.  It all seems very suspicious to me.

I for for a Credit Union, I had a woman named Areina  call saying she was from Bank Of America, calling to verify funds on a check, she had the account number and the check number.

Answered once and the entire thing was in Spanish (which is strange, because I've never indicated that as a preferred language on any form, ever).  They kept calling, so I had to block the number.

Got a call from this number telling me they needed to get my payment for my BofA credit card.  I was really confused because my payment wasn't due for a couple weeks and I was in good standing with BofA so I asked them to call me back later.  They ended up calling me 4 times in the next couple hours, I didn't answer and they didn't leave a message. I called BofA myself and asked them about the calls I was receiving.  BofA told me they didn't know who was calling me and if it had been BofA they would have called from a 1-800 number.  They forwarded my info to their fraud department for investigation and told me not to answer calls from that number.
These people are crooks!
Do not give them any personal information!

I got a call from 626-666-2000. My caller ID says BANK OF AMERICA. I actually answered and there wasn't anyone on the other end - I even waited long enough to see if someone would eventually pick up. I called the number back and it went straight to an automatic voice mailbox for "Customer Assistance Close(?) Mailbox" which was full. It never stated anything about being part of Bank of America and the guy's voice on the mailbox mumbled and did not sound professional at all.

They called my cell phone but I did not answer. After reading these posts, I most certainly will not. Caller ID on my cell phone does not show a name, only a number so cannot put a name with the reference.

I told them the person they wanted didn't live here anymore, they said it was the only number they had and they would continue to call.

I'd lay odds on it that Dave here is the doing the calling. Who else would defend this scammer?

I have no account with B&A. The owner of this property may have business with them - but they called my phone not his. He doesn't live with me either. In fact I'm suing him.

Rec'd call 3 times in a row!  In less then 1 min!  Did not leave message, kept calling over and over.  A***oles!  Belongs to B of A collections.  Told caller before they had wrong number, but keeps calling.

I got a call from 626-666-2000 at my work place, the caller ID showed Bank of America.  They also introduced themselves representative of Bank of America.  They insisted to talk to my son saying he has a balance due and wanted him to pay the balance.  I said my son doesn't use credit card, especial BankofAmerica credit card.  Again they wanted to talk to my son without providing any further information.

I suspected & called Bank of America and was told that the number DOES NOT BELONG TO BANK OF AMERICA. Beware of thief!!!

Its a credit card collection service. i dont think the do not call list is gonna help you avoid paying your debts. They have legitimate business with you, and are allowed to call.

Reported to the Feds, they are calling in violation of the "Do not Call list" and both Federal and California State laws.  If they are calling you add your number to the Do Not call list, and report them.
