This guy named "Michael" keeps calling me say he wants to get to know me. I'm calling the cops if he calls again.

JUST TELL THEM THAT YOU KNOW THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND YOUR CELL PHONE IS PINPOINTING THEIR LOCATION AS YOU SPEAK AND WHEN IT DOES YOU PLAN TO CALL THE POLICE IN THAT LOCATION AND HAVE THEM ARRESTED. tHEY DON'T KNOW IF YOU ARE A CELL OR NOT, OR JUST SAY I KNOW YOU ARE SCAMMERS AND YOU ARE NOT GIVEING THEM THE TIME OF DAY AND HANG UP. IF THEY ARE CALLONG YOU ON A CELL YOU CAN BLOCK THEIR NUMBER THRU YOUR SERVICE PROVIDER OR WITH A PHONE APPLICATION. BUT DON'T WORRY THEY AREN'T GOING TO DO ANYTHING TO YOU ALL THEY MAY DO IS BUG YOU IF YOU ARE ON A LAND LINE YOU MAY NEED TO CHANGE YOUR NUMBER. I DEAL WITH AT LEAST 3-9 OF THESE CALLS A MONTH I PRETTY MUCH TELL THEM WHAT THE CAN DO WITH THEIRSELVES AND HANG UP... GOOD LUCK

Received 2 calls tonight one was from a Mr. Bobst, who was clearly Indian and I could not hardly understand this man.  The message he left was very threatening, stating a Sheriff was coming to my place of employment to arrest me and that I would be sorry if I did not call back immediately and talk with him and to have my attorney call him???  I was dumbfounded, scared and mad!  I called this number back, and the Indian lady answered and I asked who she was with and she stated it was a law firm and I asked the name of the law firm and she stated:Bradley and Duncan Law firm, she was very threatening to me and asked why a comitted fraud and stole this money and asked her the amount that was suppose to be borrowed and she stated 791.23 that included a 31.9% interest.  I asked her when this was suppose to have taken place and she state before 1/15/2012 she could not give me an exact date, I told her she was crazy and that there is no record of this deposit in my account and hung up and got on here and seen the other posts.  The number they called me from tonight is:  305-400-1281

RECEIVED VERY DISTURBING PHONE TODAY REGARDING THE FACT THAT A WARRANT HAD BEEN ISSURED FOR MY ARREST TOMORROW AND THEY WILL PICK ME UP AT MY PLACE OF WORK AND TAKE ME TO JAIL FOR 30 DAYS. I HAVE EXPERIENCED SIMILAR TYPES OF CALLS IN THE PAST BUT THEY USUALLY WANTED TO NEGOCIATE A PAYMENT PLAN TO PAY BACK A PAY DAY LOAN THEY SAID I HADN'T PAID.  I WAS TOLD BY A MOST LIKELY FAKE LAWYER NAMED ROSE GILBERT THAT THE LOAN I HAD WAS WITH CASHNET.COM BUT WHEN I ASKED HER TO VERIFY AMOUNT , DATE, AND THE EXACT COMPANIES NAME SHE SAID THAT CASHNET.COM HAD MANY OTHER COMPANIES THEY LOAN MONEY THROUGH AND IT WAS TOO LATE ANYHOW, THE LOAN HAD BEEN WRITTEN OFF AND I WAS GOING TO JAIL.  IF YOU GET A CALL LIKE THIS ASK FOR VERIFICATION RIGHT AWAY. I BELIEVE WHEN I DID THIS THEY KNEW I WASN'T GOING TO DISCUSS GIVING THEM ANY MONEY AND THEY JUST WANTED TO SCARE ME I GUESS. AFTER ALL OF THIS I CALLED CASHNET.COM'S COLLECTION DEPARTMENT, TOLD THEM WHAT HAD HAPPENED AND THEN ASKED THE VERY NICE MAN WHO WORKED FOR CASHNET IF I HADHAD ANY LOANS WITH THEM EVER AND HE ASKED ME MY NAME AND CAME BACK IN LESS THAN 30 SECONDS AND TOLD ME I NEVER HAD A LOAN WITH CASHNET.COM.  SO PLEASE, DON'T LET THESE SCAMMER SCARE YOU, IMMEDIATELY ASK FOR AN EMAIL VERIFICATION OF WHEN YOU TOOK OUT THE LOAN, HOW MUCH IT WAS FOR, AND THE COMPANY'S NAME.  THEY WILL TRY TO SAY ANYTHING TO NOT DO THAT BUT KEEP DEMANDING IT.  IT WILL STOP VERY QUICKLY.

get any names and number that you have and report it to the FTC at ftc.gov they will they are the onyones who can handle the claim. They say it is a scam and to just hang up DO NOT CONFIRM ANY INFORMATION AT ALL!

I got a call from three numbers (951) 489-0225, (951) 489-0226,  a person named Marvin Smith with an Indian accent. I've also talked to someone named Alber white, Michael Thomas & Rose Gilbert who also have Indian accents. That call came from a (630) 332-0774 number. I was also told that the Fdc. Dept. or the sheriffs will come to my house or my job to detain me tomorrow morning after they inform them of the affidavid they have on me today if I do not resolve the issue by paying 864.24 for a payday loan, which I never received. I am contacting the FBI regarding this internet scam. I suggest you all do it to and report all number & names that you have.

I had the same issue with these losers about a month and a half ago. Since then I just block my number and prank call them a few times a week. They don't answer the phone anymore...lol.

When I would ask them questions like where are they located or if I could speak to the attorney, they wouldn't let me. I asked if I can leave a voice message or have an email address they couldn't provide me with one. What kind of lawyer doesnt have an answer machine or email address at the very least? Obviously they're scammers. Don't give them any money or personal info.

These same assclowns keep harrassing my daughter. They have called from three different states so far. They have made threats to her of which I have now recorded. You can tell the person calling is reading a script including his supposed name. I tried calling them back and the number would not go through (what a surprise) For their own well being they should pack up and leave the country. chances are they are actually using phone transfers and are not in the United States. For those who don't know all lawsuits are processed through the courts. All paperwork is stamped with the recorders name,court of origin and case #. Also, any legitimate attorney or collection agency would not make such wild threats-it is against the law and they could face criminal charges themselves. These collections rules are available through the Federal Trade Commision,which governs these activities along with your state Attorney General. DO NOT GIVE ANY BANK ACCOUNT INFORMATION TO THEM, DO NOT WIRE TRANSFER FUNDS. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They have been calling me since august saying i owe a payday loan and they are bringing federal charges against me. They also say they are calling my boss or coming to my home and are arresting me. This is annoying and yesterday they had me speak with a lawyer with last name connor and he was rude and said you can't interrupt me til i tell you what your being sued in court for and i owe them money when i didn't get a $700 loan from them. This is crazy i installed a app called Mr.number on my phone and i can block numbers but yesterday they called me back after i hung up threatening me that friday i am going to court n then jail. I said f'''k you and hung up. They called me four times after that. I am glad googling this info made this scam come up and it is a illinois number what's up with that?

OK guys I have checked this out.  This is a SCAM!!! I talked to the Federal Trade Commision.  Found out they hack online for any kind of loans.  Especially pay day loans.  They have an American phone number that routes the call over seas.  They are NOT in the states.  This is why they are not stopping them.  They are out of the American Jurisdiction.  You can go to the Federal Trade Commision website www.ftc.gov and see others that this has happen to you.  You might have to tell your work or your friends what is going on, because they will try to contact them as well.  I am soooo sorry guys. I was really hopeing to track this dude down and nail him to the wall, but I can't.  So I guess you can take out all your frustrations on this guy, or tell him to come have you arrested.  Do what ever you want because he is no where to be found.  Sorry, the only good news is that this is totally a freaken SCAM!!!!!  Take care!

Hey everyone we recieved a phone call from the same 630-233-9735 phone number, the same guy Brandon Wattson.  One thing is I am a stay at home mom.  I am doing extreame research on this guy and his company!! I am going to get him!  When I get him I will let you all know! I will let you all know what to do and how to stop him!! Who knows maybe we can all get together and nail his A$$ to the wall for identy theft and threats against.

I received a phone call from this number. A woman from India said it was an emergency and that I was being sued. She said she worked for Bradley and Duncan Law Firm out of Illinois and would put their para legal on the line to speak to me. The para legal was also a woman from India, she said I was being sued by a company called Cash World for getting a Pay Day loan and stealing the money. She said I owed $989.23 and that collections had been closed and that I would be going to prison for 30 days. She said a sheriff would be arriving at my house very soon to arrest me for these charges. Although I kept stating that I did not know what she was talking about and that I never did this she was insistant that I had. She then proceeded to yell at me and said Why did you steal the money! These people knew all of my information, address, phone and social security number. It was very upsetting to me and I hung up the phone. She kept calling back over and over. I researched the law firm and found it to be a SCAM. And Cash World Payday Loan to be non-existant as well.

The name I received was Aaron Smith.  This is a scam.  Plus they are pretending to be lawyers.  This is the same outfit from California who are now moving state to state.  They called my job as well.  I had some choice words for these guys (other name in my mind).   Besides, an indictment, and/or arrest would not be over the phone.  They never say what law firm.  Criminal complaints come from a Prosecuting office not some random phone call guised as a "law firm".  Please people do not fall for this crap.

I keep getting threatening calls from a man and I,m not even there at the time.

This people just call me from this number but it went to my vm.. I think they are going from state to state.   I got a phone from them and almost fell in their trap last week.  The number they call me from last week was 818 806 3353.   Same threatening message.  Read note.

I received a call from this number yesterday statin I had a pending lawsuit against me and that I was going to be arrested for theft by receiving, money laundring and stolen checks...they said thy had downloaded my case and were going to forward everything over to their attorney general and that I was goin to b arrested and that by the time everything was over that I would over over 10 grand in fees I asked them for the company that I supposedely owed and they said American payday loan I told them I never went through with the loan and I had spoked to representatives at that company and that I could prove I never received money the man I was speaking with souned indonesian and he started to get irate when I told him I could prove he was lying he started to yell and try n talk over me I tld him he could shove and hung up and immediately called my bank and had a claim sumitted to the fraud dept. They did knw my bank name and my place of employment but I told them they were wrong. Do not give them ur information this is all just a scam from this company
