Yep! Gonna rush and purchase health insurance from some scam outfit who is calling me ILLEGALLY! Blocked with Ooma.

PS Jill Thorpe leaves her number which is perhaps a direct line?  She leaves the same number each time.  She calls FROM the 630-261-3000 number but leaves a different # to call.

So, if any of you are bored and want to start calling Ms. Thorpe, her number is (630) 772-8009...

Jill Thorpe is very persistent.  She never ever says what she's calling about, of course.  She just carefully records the times she called, follows up and references prior calls, and never ever mentions the purpose for her call.  Like many people, I do not answer unknown numbers.  So if the message left is not informative enough for me to return the call, I never will.

Most interesting about all of this to me is that I have NOT been in the market for health insurance.  Ever.  My insurance has been covered by my school or my employer since 1997 and my current employer selects and pays for it.  So this is just a completely out-of-the-blue telemarketer who got a hold of my number.  Ah well.  I will continue to ignore...

You sound like ignorant and uneducated morons. If someone is registered under The Do Not Call list, a solicitor is breaking the law regardless if they are "trying to help" someone. Sure you don't work for them, you sack of scat. Do some real marketing if it's such a great product and you won't need to make spam calls. I never entered my contact info anywhere and have requested removal and I still keep getting calls. I am documenting things now so I can file a complaint. I could use the extra cash. I believe it's $1000 per occurrence in my state.

No, neither I NOR anyone I know is seeking insurance info and giving out my cell number! A flat-out lie. That is NOT how they got my number.

Did you people ever stop to think that someone calling you was actually trying to help you and are not scam artists. Yes there are telemarketers out there trying to peddle something off on you however that's not the case with this company they are insurance consultants that represent all the major medical companies. Their service is free they get paid by the insurance company not you. And they typically as brokers can find you less expensive coverage that is eqaul to or better than what you currently have. A friend of mine save $15 k a year bc a rep looked into what they currently had and found a way they could pay less by raising their deductible and adding accident and critical illness to their policy to cover the higher deductible. Not everyone is out there to rip you off that is what is wrong with our society everyone is so rude and mistrusting. And another thing they get your number as the result of you or someone you know going online and requesting insurance info they deal with large call volumes trying to reach as many people as possible.

Just Call the number and ask to be removed from their call list. They were very nice and accomidating. I feel that I should not have to do this however they were very respectful and nice.

I got called by that number as well.  I thought it might be someone who I made angry the prior eve so I did not answer.  Glad to see others with the same problem with that number.  I guess I didn't make anyone angry enough to warrant a call.

I received phone call, however my nephew was playing around with my cell phone.  I need to know what date for interview and the time.

I called them back from my office phone. It's a health care co. I asked for my number to be removed and it was done right away. She was even nice about it.
