Some lady named Mrs. Roberts called my cell # looking for my son. I said he wasn't home and please do not call my cell #. I don't know how she got it. Then she called the house phone. My son paid all his debts he had when he was younger. He doesn't owe anyone anymore.

They keep calling at work place this place is at bussiness place where they should notbe calling at work place!!!!!

Monica Lopez called   for  me to deliver a message to our daughter  about a "personal  business  matter " and when I requested more   information  she became rude and   nasty. I told her  I  was suspicious as no one had ever called    me looking for  our daughter and she  seemed  surprised by that.  NO  Nobody calls me looking for her...she has her own home, number and all of it. She  refused to   tell us  any more  and got  nastier the longer   she stayed on the phone.
Our daughter  will  contact   the consumer agency  for more information . Taking   others advice to not call back.  

This Stoneleigh Recovery Associates called our landline for my husband looking to collect on a debt.  Since I'm usually the keeper of the finances, I called instead.  Very rude guy named Sam Walsh tells me that if I didn't settle the debt with him over the phone then and there he would put it down as a refusal to pay.  All I wanted to do was consult with my husband to find out what the hell was going on!
Whatever you do NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY BACK!  Call the company that you dealt with originally to deal with the situation.

Someone from # 630-282-5758 on my job and I want it to stop.

I was called by this phone number staying that it is an urgent matter several times by smeone named Thomas Negro. It is a debt collection agency!

A male voice looking for a Shelia West I believe called from this number and stated that he was trying to reach her concerning and important situation. When I stated she didn't live at this number he claimed he knew that but was under the impression I might know her. When I said I did not, he called me by name. What is going on?

yeah this number called me just a few minutes ago asking for my bf. i was surprised as how did they call me instead of my bf as i'm an international student here (my bf is local) and demanded to speak to my bf. the person who called's name is Samuel Walsh and i definitely don't know anyone with that name or from Illinois, i haven't even been there. They wouldn't even tell me exactly what the phone call was about when I asked; instead they asked me what's my relationship was with my bf, i replied that he was my friend.

well, the thing is my bf called them back and i guess its got something to do with one of his past debts and he set a monthly payment of $50 with them. i could tell he was really upset and pissed off over the phone, i wasn't there when he called them so i don't know what was said or how intense the conversation was.

i felt really uncomfortable from that call so i googled up the number and name and found this website leading me to another number similar to this number, just a different last digit-630-282-5757 and found a lot of bad comments about the number, some saying its a scam, do not pay or set up accounts etc.

i'm quite afraid now since my bf just set up a payment thing with them. i don't know how bad this is or its still ok as i'm new in this country and don't know the ropes of how to handle situations like this. I hope there is someone whom can reply this message of mine here with more information regarding this unknown caller and this company.

Marty from this number called my place of business looking for someone else. He said he was an old friend trying to get in touch with her.  It's a debt collection agency.

I was called by 732-982-8641 , Vanessa, wanted me to call her back at 630-282-5758 Ext 1145.  I don't know this person amd I don't know this person and they didn't state what the call concerned! I didn't return the call.

This person called my parents home and threatened my mother and my job.

This is a debt collection agency who is now buying debt portfolios In particular Bureaus Investment Group Portfolio No 15. I have not signed any kind of contract with Bureaus Investment Group Portfolio No 15, nor Stoneleigh Recovery Associates, LLC.
Just another attempt to fraudulently collect monies they have no legal right to collect.

I am really furious about these people calling me. I wished I had saved their calls on my answering machine.They are asking for a person with the same last name as mine.The caller at 630-282-5758 is James Edwards. I must include another number here 877-812-8932 because a man named Burks (from the same area has left oodles of messages on my answering for that same person). One of the callers, I did not catch her name wanted me to contact the person she was looking for.(I live in a small town where every one knows each other) I said absolutely not! She became very livid and rude. When I asked her again for her name she hung up. I would love to report them and block them from calling my number. On my caller i.d.the company name does not display, only the place they are caling from. I started saving their messages on the machine, and on my incoming calls as they are relentless in their calls! I see on an earlier complaint the company is Stoneleigh Recovery Assoc LLC (a debt collecter). I would like to harass them the same way they have done me!

I recieved a call from a woman who I know thru a relative. She told me she recieved a call from this number and a woman named Vanessa who said that she was a contact for me. Funny thing is, I called the aqaintance a month ago regarding an invite to a baby shower. There is no logic or  reason for this Vanessa from said number to make such a statement. I called the number given and demanded how this person she called was supposedly a contact--naturally, she said no connection and said to ignore it. I wonder about this entire thing. Only possibility she would have called my aqaintence was to have access to my phone records. That is going to be a problem now......

Asked for somebody by the same last name as mine. I told him that he had the wrong number. Kept asking questions, I told him again "You got the wrong number buddy" and I hung up. He called back immediately and I asked him to stop calling me that he has the wrong number and hung up. He called again and I let the answering machine take it. I filed a complaint with FTC.
