They called me from a local number in Texas where I live but gave the 6302825750 number as a call back number. I answered the phone and it said it was a business matter I said ok whats going on at work only then did another lady come on demanding to speak to me or my lawyer, yeah cause you trick my a** into waking up over a fake business matter and expect me to pay you any kind of attention. Sorry but you got it all wrong. Ha!

Started getting calls from them asking where I worked and bank account info for a very old debt from my ex. Told them that the statute of limitations on the debt was 3 years in AZ and that they needed to stop any calls to me and they just yelled that I did not know what I was talking about and that I owed the money. I told them that I would never admit debt since it would start the statute of limitations again, but I did know that they had no legal recourse to collect the debt anymore and she swore at me and hung up. Since then I get 2 or 3 hangups from them a day. Reported them for harassing me and the calls have now stopped.

Called my phone and then left a message. Automated voice says sorry there are no agents to get my call and they will have to call me back later. Ok.. that is pretty stupid don't ya think?

I Received a phone call from this number this morning asking for my name.  I told them I wasn't that person and they continued to ask, forcefully.  I finally said I didn't know them and they must have had the wrong number.  The guy sounded foreign.  He then hung up on me abruptly.  I called the number back from another phone and a lady answered.  I told her I received a call from this number and was wondering who it was -business or residence-.  She refused to give me any info, acted like she was going to put me on hold and disconnected.  From the other posts here, sounds like a VERY unprofessional collections agency, or a scam trying to get people to release their account information.

*Update*  I had my brother call them.  Come to find out they are indeed a collection agency.  He only gave them my 1st name and they were able to pull up all my info.  Appears it's in regards to  some debt from my previous marriage as he said they gave my ex-wife's name and her mother's name, whom they tried to contact.  Said it was going into "legal council" Friday.  Who knows if this is true, or just a scare tactic...

Caller Called my work!  Looking for an employee that works here.  I asked if this was work related.  He said no.  I went on to tell him to take us off his contact info and call him at a personal number.  He started SCREAMING INTO THE PHONE AT ME. TO TAKE DOWN HIS INFO NOW I SAID NO HE TOLD ME I WAS IGNORANT AND NOT BRIGHT AND THEN PROCEEDED TO CALL ME NAMES.  This company is unbelievable.  Dont answer this number its not worth the response

they called me once and i rejected the call less than a week later they called me asking for my girlfriend who i've only been with for 2 weeks, i told him that i wasn't at her house and he just hung up and didn't even give me a chance to take a message or anything. my phone hasn't even been activated for a month how could they have my number. personaly i hope they call back so i can give them a piece of my mind.

Before you get too concerned about what these kind of people can and will really do to you (some will threaten to take your first born, it is amazing how threatening and vile they get) do some research on them and others like them. Received harrassing phone calls with threats of garnishing my wages and placing a lien on my home.  They even threatened my 10 year old son that answered the phone and told him that we were going to be evicted from our home.  Since then, he has had several night mares.

They continue to call and won't stop! What can we do to put an end to the harassment?  This is way over the edge, they have affected my child!

The phone number is (630) 282-5761 ext 1611, Jacob continues harass me, and he has called me vulgar names.  He and other females calls my home daily approximately 3 - 4 times per day.

Rec'd call today on my pay as you go cell phone - and wondered how this person got my number, frankly.  Man said his name was Dion Myers (probably bogus) and that I must call him back immediately.  Of course, I never would do such a thing so I searched for the number (the one he gave and the one he actually called from) and both are tied to Stoneleigh Recovery.

As someone mentioned here, there is a statute of limitations on debt.  Please be aware of that.

The only thing I'm worried about is how did they get my number since I rarely give it out?

Anyway, my policy is never call them back.

Aside from all of that (old debts; statute of limitations), I am unemployed; on Social Security and food stamps; don't own a home; don't own a car - so there was/is nothing for them to attempt to "recover."  

If they continue to call, I'll buy a new pay as you go phone.

I received a call while I was at work on my cell.  Made the mistake of answering, told her I couldn't talk at work, she proceeded to yell, and threaten me...even though I have no idea why she was calling.  I eventually hung up on her.

These people are completely dishonest and sleazy.  They claim to have bought a card that was in my mother's name and I personally paid off 4 years ago.  They say it was not paid off and went to collections and that the $500 balance is now $2200.  I told him I have all of the Western Union receipts to prove that payment was made and that I want a statement of the balance and he refuses to send me anything or accept my proof of payment.  He says that only if i have a "settlement letter" from them that they will not consider it paid off.  Why would I have a settlement letter from them....I paid the card to Capital One and therefore I never "settled" and certainly not with them!  They are obviously running a scam and what really bothers me is the continuous calling and threatening to my Mom, who is extremely conscientious about her bills.  She & my Dad have medical issues that could become aggravated by the constant harassment.  I will definitely be taking the advice from this site and sending them a cease and desist letter.  I hope they end up in prison for this - there should be much harsher punishments for this type of harassment.  Good luck to anyone who hears from these people.  I will definitely pay an Attorney much more than the amount of the debt before I ever give them a dime! At this point it's the principle of it..

This idiot guy called my number for Patricia Smith.  I told him she has never taken calls from this number.  She use to rent a house from me and now she has moved.  But that wasn't good enough for him.  He called back and just kept saying, let me talk, let me talk, as I was screaming to him do not call this number again, idiot.  Apparently he does not understand what people say to him or he just doesn't listen because he wants to talk.  He needs to be fired.

Received another call-same number on ID- several days later and a heavy Spanish accented male asked for Armando. Told him no one by that name lives here.
Got another call a couple of days later and was asked if Armando was there.
Told the guy that no one lives here by that name.
Any more calls, and I will contact the Attorney General from Ill and file a complaint!

Have been called twice by this company saying my husband's name and number were given as a  number to call in emergency.   Since I knew the person, and that was possible, I contacted her daughter. No emergency! Later found it was collection  agency, person in ? said they had never given  his name for  referral. Now, a good 4 months later, a call again this morning. Same senerio.  HArd to get them off line even when I told them I had no contact with this person or anyone who knew her.    Yesterday had two unknown numbers that were hang ups. BEWARE!!

These people call all the time. They never leave messages. I looked them up and discovered they are a collection agency.  Fine. I don't have any outstanding debts! So it makes me wonder why they are calling.  I just let the answering machine get it. Their address is Stoneleigh Recovery, 1919 Highland Ave, Ste 325B, Lombard, Illinois.  I don't have the zip code, but it should be easy to find.  I would write them a cease and desist letter.

They call harassing us to pay a debt but will not negosiate a agreeable amount to pay.  Small monthly payments I am willing to do but not a lump some. They have called neighbors to give us messages
