I just received some texts after posting my car for sale online as well.
"USED 2005 TOYOTA MATRIX XR $10,999 still for sale?"
I responded nicely.
"how much is your final asking price? is it in perfect condition? send more pics if any"
I responded answering the questions.
"Get back to me with your PayPal email and your name"
RED FLAG RED FLAG!! I responded back, send me your email and I will respond that way.

This is when I searched the phone number online and saw this page. Thanks for the tips guys! Screw these scammers!

SCAM, trying to buy vehicle using Paypal, be smart people, especially around the holiday, these idiots will stop at nothing, low life scum trying to scam hard working people...

I just had a txt from this number. I placed an ad to sell my car, and within 20 minutes this number sent a txt asking for my paypal address and my full name ASAP... didnt fall for it

I too received texts from this number in response to a car I was trying to sell. I even received very convincing e-mails that were supposed to be from Pay-Pal. They promised that the money would be credited to the account once I sent the mover's fees by western union.

I got the same texts non-stop regarding a Craigslist ad. The wording is exactly the same. I actually received fake PayPal emails with instructions for sending them money to pay for a moving company to move their purchase to them.
I contacted PayPal and forwarded the emails for their investigation. I also informed the scammers of my actions. What was their response back to me - "you must be mad" You have to love this.
So be careful out there on-line. Don't pay someone to buy your products.

"I am a military woman and I am located at Nellis air force base is located approximately eight miles northeast of Las Vegas." Received 12:14 PM 8/1/2013
I erased many of them. This group has send text messages 24/7!
