Hey IndyCar people write they are scam artist because they are calling about an fake loan and trying to scare people with saying they have a court case.  At anytime you can call or look up online about any cases against you.  They try to get you pay something at isn't your or you already paid that to me is a scam artist.

T(630) 423-8701.  They called for a specific person (clearly they had the wrong number) .  Apparently this person owes something and there is some court case against him. I answered the call and there was an automated message that said, "If you are not John Doe (i used a fake name), please disregard this message....." I continued to listen to the message anyway before hanging up.  I don't think these people are scam artist. They are DEBT COLLECTORS.  Some of you obviously owe something serious: car, house, loans, liens, etc and the big guns are coming after you. Just ignore the call but don't write that these are scammers.  I don't believe that in every instance, they are scammers (not this particular phone number).  I think this number is looking for real people to pay back what they owe. I only have one credit card, I rent an apt, and have never owned a vehicle or home...so I'm basically "safe" (LOL).  Good luck to all of you who actually owe people money!!!

Filed bk on the original creditor and them and these bottom feeder collectors are still harassing me. The attorney cant locate them. They are using temporary numbers and fake company names. Beware.

The Internet Crime Complaint Center has received many complaints from victims of payday loan telephone collection scams. Callers claim the victim is delinquent in a payday loan and must repay the loan to avoid legal consequences. The callers purport to be representatives of the FBI, Federal Legislative Department, various law firms, or other legitimate-sounding agencies. They claim to be collecting debts for companies such as United Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Advance, U.S. Cash Net, and other Internet check-cashing services.

According to complaints received from the public, the callers have accurate data about victims, including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, employer information, bank account numbers, and the names and telephone numbers of relatives and friends. How the fraudsters obtained the personal information varies, but in some cases victims have reported they completed online applications for other loans or credit cards before the calls started.

The fraudsters relentlessly call the victim?s home, cell phone, and place of employment. They refuse to provide any details about the alleged payday loans and become abusive when questioned. The callers have threatened victims with legal actions, arrests, and, in some cases, physical violence if they do not pay. In many cases, the callers harass victims? relatives, friends, and employers.

Called and didn't leave a message, figured it was bs. Not the first time I got a call from a similar number, just added it to my block list. If it was a real case, the company you took a loan out with, would've called you before it got to this point.

I got a phone call claiming I wrote a bad check in 2006 on a bank account that I never had to a store I never visited. The man is threatening to issue me a warrant and wanted to know where I bank now.

I just received a call from this number. The stated I owe mycashnow 253.00. I told him I never had a payday loan with them. He said if I didnt pay right now that they would be pressing charges against me. So I hung up and called mycashnow customer services phone  and had them do a search to see if anyone stole my ssn and opened a loan with it. They said I never had a loan with them ad that these people are scammers.....

I just got a call from an outfit that identified itself as LMI.  They said I owed money to my cash .now They said I owed 1265.95 including interest.  I have no loans with mycashnow and I can find nothing sofar on the internet that lists this company as a medication firm.  Anybody out there get a call from LMI?

Same here. They called my work. I stayed on the phone. Never heard of or dealt with cashjar or cashcall. Gave them my lawyer number. Just got one call after the other. Hung up. Then this automated call . Hung up.

These people call to tell you that a case will be filed against you in court.  The first call I got stated that I owed money to My Cash Now. I don't have a loan with this company. It was paid off.  I told the agent to hold on so that I could get my papers and he hung up.  I got another call from these people stating that I owe a company called CashJar.com.  Never heard of this company and I never had a loan witht his company.  They say that I got a loan for $250.00.  They gave me a court case number of 2013-C563174. I was told that they would be delivering papers to my job. I told them I would be waiting.
