You should receive some money if they continue to call you. File harassment with FCC and make sure you are on the do not call list.

Got a VERY RUDE call from a Ms. Jackson, telling me I owed money for some outstanding bill that had been turned over to them.  I asked what the bill was and when it occured, but she could not tell me, all she said was they would settle it for $300+ dollars.
I told her to send me the bill and I would handle it.  She told me that they needed the payment first!

Just received a message from Ms. Jones in reference to an important business matter.  I know that this is a scam.  They are trying to get money from me through money gram to a company called simple software.   I almost fell for it but realized in order to garnish my wages they need to take me to court.

Received a message from a Ms jones stating that i need to call in reference to a business matter.  Last time it was another lady.  They are calling and stating that i owe money and want me to send a payment through Moneygram.

This company keeps calling me about a loan that I took out online from National Payday Loan for the amount ofn 300-500 dollars but they said that the balance is now 1200 which I never took out a loan through this company.  This is not the only number they call from.  They have been calling since August and said they have sent numerious letters about the garnishment.  They haven't done so. I told them that I would contact my lawyer about this matter and the lady hungup on me.  The lady's name is Ms. Jon the number is 630-486-1900, 630-618-4886 and 877-269-0088 ext 226 and ext 227

they continue to call a social sevice that I have children with doing foster care and are harrassing them calling them names and say that they are liers, I must call them back. Can't hardly speak english and very rude.

I get calls on my cell phone from 630-618-4886 but no one ever leaves a message.  I am getting calls at work from 877-269-0088, PDLR Group she says and that I owe for a pay day loan from years and years ago (which I have never even accepted a pay day loan).  I applied for one, was denied years and years ago.  I asked Ms. Faith that continually calls me at work even after being warned to NOT call my work number again but she won't even tell me what the company is I supposedly owe $ to and won't even mail me any proof.

Got a call from a Mrs. Jones.  She left a message with a call back number of 877-269-0088 x 229.  I don't think I'll call this scammer back either.

Just got another call this morning.  This caller had a Latin-American name but no accent and said he was from APA.  Every time I get a call (and I have been receiving them for over a year now), it is a different person and a different company name.  They are making the rounds to scam innocent people out of money.  They have to move around to avoid getting caught.  The call back numbers are good for approximately 24 hours.  I too have filed complaints with the FCC, Homeland Security, SS Administration and the Attorney General.  Fat lot of good that does.  The callers never provide details or can send proof of their claim.  I have told all previous callers that I know they are trying to extort money from me and I am not going to play their game.  I also tell them they are violating several provisions o the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  They usually hang up..  They never follow through with their threats.  They can't because they can't back up their claim.  Wages cannot be garnished without a lawsuit being filed and served upon a debtor.  Driver's licenses cannot be suspended without a criminal court action.  Debt collection is a civil court matter, not a criminal court matter.  Although they threaten that they have people standing by to haul you off to the courthouse, they can't legally do that.  IGNORE THEM!!!

They called and I answered, "hello" and no answer back from caller.  I can hear them breathing and listening, so I did the same thing, they hung up.  Odd, huh?

Ignore them...they are a hoax doing illegal things with a tidbit of info they have gleaned somehow.  Same issue used to happen to me about a year ago, with foreign accented people.  Now all american.

Just got a call, stating that I was going to have a wage garnishment for a defaulted payday loan, I asked when I did this loan, and she said 2009. Since I never applied or received a online payday loan, I told her she could talk to my attorney. She then told me if I paid my bills, I wouldn't be receiving these calls. I would advise anyone to call the number back and then they will tell you that they are an answering service.

Called and left a message. Called back and asked what this was about.They asked for my social security number, or banking information, to research my account. I told them that if I had an account with them, they would have this information already. The lady said she would garnish my wages.  I wished her good luck (along with a few expletives), and reported them to my local PD.

I just received a message on my cell and a call at work from this same number.  I told them I would not speak with them at work or answer my cell phone during work hours.  He proceeded to tell me that we needed to discuss this.  He identified himself as Mr Garza with PDLF.  I have no clue what he is talking about nor do I intend to answer his calls.  I've spoken with law enforcement and the secret service and they say there is nothing these people can do.

I'm assuming it's a debt collector but one that does not follow rules and likely bought a bad debt...  I filed BK cptr 7 a couple years ago and unfortunately it seems like the debts (PDLs specifically...) are sold and pond scum like this are trying to get money...  I don't owe any money (the BK took care of it), but that doesn't stop them from trying to call and scare people...  I was called with a msg they had a court ordered wage garnishment...  first thing first...  if they had a court order they need to provide evidence... more importantly you would have had to have been served with paperwork first to determine if the debt was owed etc...  very very lame of them to try to pull off a scam...

I got a call from a white lady (suprised me, usually an indian calls me..)
she told me i owe 1300.00 and they are gonna garnish my wages. I told her to show me the deposit of the loan i never paid and she told me i shouldn't ignore this. whatta bi***....

I got a call from these people and they are TOTALLY SCAMMERS. they refuse to give ownership of business and business address, they refuse to state who and when this so called payday loan was taking out. They threaten and REFUSE to stop calling. I guess we either have to send some Senator some free porno or a blank check in order to get the government to work on cracking down on these people. also understand that these idiots are using routers so a call isn't really coming from the number listed. The phone company refuses to assist, yet don't they own these numbers and they can't tell us who they give them out to. Thisi s nothing but BS and we can thank god we are getting so screwed by our gov. If htey would take thsee types of threats a little more seriously instead of hunting down dark people in some other country, then maybe us citizens could find a littel peace in our lives..send money to senators in washington and they will think about helping you as they pick the goods from their teeth

Got a call at work today from this phone number!  A "Juan Hernandez" told me my license was going to be suspended for bad checks.  I don't write checks...I use a debit card.  I told him to send me something in the mail as I know I don't have any outstanding bad checks.  Furthermore, I told him I was not allowed to get calls at work and to not call me at work again.  He then hung up on me.

I female who identifies herself as Mrs Jones for PDLR (PayDay Loans Recovery).  She said I defaulted on to pay day loans in 2009 and 2010 -- which is totally untrue.  She had a lot of personal information about me.  The call was a fraud. She threatened to have my driver's license revoked. She left me her call back numer  - 877-269-0088, also bogus.  I notified CashNetUSA.com where I use to get loans from and never defaulted.

they have called my work several times and left messages. I finally called back and they told me i owed a payday loan from back in 2009. my balance was like 970.00 and they were willing to settle for 300.00 as long as i gave them a debit or credit card number and paid it within 5 days. I don't owe anything and they couldn't even tell me who i supposedly took the loan out from. liars!!!!1111

Scammers they want you to call them back at 877-601-5871. They claim to have a garnishment for a payday loan I did not take out.

It's a scam. Do not fall for it. I had a call from the same number regarding a payday loan which I never had. They have the last 4 digits of my ssn but they don't have the whole number. They also have my old drivers license from another State. I told the lady, I know it's a scam and I didn't want her to call my number anymore or else I will file a report.

Called my work number 23 times after hours and left messages. I finally got thru to them and I told them straight up. I know you are scam artists, I am reporting you and if you ever call my number again I will file harassment charges. What a buncha idiots. I applied for a pay day loan online one time and never took it. CAUTION to you: DO NOT APPLY FOR THEM ONLINE! These people steal your info or buy it from the online pay day loan companies and try to get you to give them money you don't owe. Just because they know a couple of partial pieces of information about you it sounds convincing. However, if you tell them to not call you again or you will file harassment charges then they have to stop.

I picked up this call and they said that they are a legit collection agency for pay day loans. I never took out a loan. LOL...and to top it off i asked them to send me information about what pay day load it is and she said she doesnt have my account open right now. and I asked her to email it to me and the dumb a***s sent it to me through a YAHOO email account? really? im not that stupid! THESE SCAMMERS SHOULD GET HIT BY A BUS WHEN THEIR GETTING OFF WORK FROM THESE SCAM AGENCIES.

I too have received messages from this number about a wage garnishment. They also go under 877-269-0088. Do not send them any money. It is a total scam! I did ask for documents and Ms. Styles or Syles stated that they would send them to me when they have received the monies owed in full. I talked to a lawyer and a police officer about this and they stated that it is a scam and not to send money. I have also reported them. They are scum bags!

We received a call from this number on 10/13/11.  A female saying something about check fraud.  We returned the phone call to the number on the caller ID which was  630-618-4886 (not the number her message said to call  which was 1-877-258-1188 x 243).  Same girl answered the phone. 630-618-4886  is listed as a residence in Aurora when you look up the number in the white pages. The phone is listed under Tridell and Wendy Evans.  What kind of scam is this?  Is there nothing that can be done about this kind of thing?  We owe no one for a pay day loan and we have no idea what the woman is referring to as check fraud.  When we called the number back, we asked to speak to Tridell and she said   " just a minute."  Then she came back and asked what the call was in regard to. I told her we received a call from the number and I wanted to speak to Tridell or Wendy and she said, "that would be me." The woman said she was collecting for a pay day loan company, but could not tell me anything about what pay day loan company. I told her that the message mentioned check fraud and she denied that this was what was said; however, the message was recorded and we have it saved on our phone. I told her that the number she was calling from was listed all over the internet as a SCAM and she said, " I know it is, but it is not a scam, we are collecting on unpaid payday loans."  I said what company and she said, " whatever one we called you about" (what a stupid answer).   I told her that we didn't have a pay day loan and to not call the number again.  She stated "If your number is on our list, you will continue to get calls, thank you" and hung up.  She won't be calling our number because she has been blocked.  She has also been turned into the Office of the Attorney General and the Office of Homeland Security.  We have also turned the phone number over to the FCC.  Anyone else have agencies you would like to report these people to?.  How much money do you think these folks are scamming from people who they harrass and use scare tactics to get money from?  Please if anyone is getting thses kinds of call, do whatever you can to try to stop this harrassment.  These kind of people are scamming thousands of the most vunerable people in our communities, including the elderly population.
