These Calls Are Indeed From Very Kind Volunteers At Amvets Who R Merely Trying To Organize Donations To HelpOur Veterans.   as For Why They Would Hang Up, I Know The Lovely Lady Who Calls Us SoundsQuite A Bit Older, They May Not Hear U Or Were Hanging Up As U Answered.  They Hv No Reason To Crank Call Lol.  Pls Be Kind, They R Just Trying To Help :)

How do you stop these calls?

So glad it's not just me! This number calls our house regularly, but when we answer no one ever talks, they just hang up! Very frustrating! If this truly is an Anvets volunteer then why they not tall?

This number has called our house 8 times today and no one is there

They are not telemarketers, its a call from some very nice people who donate their time asking if you have "anything" you would like to give away, (they pick everything up on a scheduled day, how much better can it get) all for the benefit our Veterans...

AMVETS has been around longer than most of us have been alive, a great way to keep your house clean of the things you don't use any more....?

they say they are allowed to call until 9 pm
previous people never bugged us and did not call after 8pm
hopefully, we will be off the list as I requested

Called our home at 9:56am & again 9:58am and said nothing. Why does this  person call people. Is there some type of solicitation this person is trying to do or what.

She is an one of an army of old ladies that calls people looking for donations of used goods. One of those charities that comes and picks up boxes/bags of stuff people don't want anymore. Also, the whole charity has no concept of calling before 8pm.
