Phone message wanting to meet to share his problems. $50 dollars short having enough to go see mom.

Our church receives annual voice mails left from this angry gentleman. If we begin to explain our policies re: assistance matters, he becomes angry.  Below is the latest email sent repeatedly in one hour.....

Please dont look at this email, and think its another beggar looking to score,OK? Im far from that? Im in a rotten hole right now and cant seem to tread water?" Im living in my car and cant find any work? Never can get into shelters, they only let in the young ignorant losers!!! Never care about the older ones that had a great life, and trying to get it back? I need help with some gas cards, McDonalds cards or Jewel cards!!! PLEASE? Can you help me keep going?I need this ASAP!!!! I thank you for any consideration at all!!! Please dont play the didnt get your email games,OK? At last consider helping me and reply with a yes or no,OK? All I ever seem to get, is people heartless, non-caring, that have to play games with people!!?? That REALLY gets old after awhile!!!! Identified himself as Greg Foley needing money toward a security deposit on an apartment. Gave the 630-835-9726 as the landlords number.  He has contacted us before.

Can you share with me your church name and location? We too, a church, have received multiple calls from a man from this number.

The church received several phone calls during Holy and Easter weeks from a person who gave his name as Josh Orman. In each vm, he requested a return call on 630-835-9726. Every call except one showed on CallerID as "PRIVATE" (*67). The one call that was not *67 showed the name of Frank Moore.

His story was same/similar: "needs $75 to go see mother dieing from stomach cancer near Springfield IL...no job for 18 months...warehousing background...near homeless, sleeping on friends' sofas or in his car...two heart attacks..." also claimed he lived in the neighborhood near the church--Aurora-Montgomery. His manner was insistent, rude, quick to anger." He walks with a pronounced limp, is a very large man (~400 pounds, 5'11" - 6') in his late 50s-early 60s, balding top with short gray hair around sides and back, and drove a light gold, ~1985 Lincoln Mark IV the license plate A489 985.

I provided a log of the times and dates of his phone calls, a photograph of him standing next to his car, the car's license plate number, and copies of this website info about his phone number to the Police Department.

MY RESUME :

Since I left high school I was a work-aholic!! Over the years since the early 70's, I have perfected expertise in the transportation industry. From helping drivers load and unload their goods. To being an expert in trade show services. Praised highly for my knack and knowledge for working in the warehouse!!Not to mention expertise in dealing with paperwork and filling out forms correctly. I was the boss and ran a tight ship!! I dispatched daily crews from 12 up to 125 and dealt with all the issues and problems that came along. I am great with customers, dealing with their needs on the phone, giving quotes, hearing complaints,ETC..

However over the past 5 years I have been out of the work force. With the economy taking the turn it did. I got tired of being the one that lost between 2 choices. Always being told "NO"?? And it became very depressing the way employers treated you?? Everyone has gone to using the immigrants, and forgetting about the honest hard working people that have been here and want their life back?? BUT I kept in touch with advanced procedures and do believe I got more education and updating in these past 5 years than any school could offer!! I am now ready to go back to work and am sharper and more determined than ever before!!! I offer you an employee that is strong on : HONESTY - LOYALTY - AND WILL GIVE YOU 110% all of the time.

MY GOALS :

I wish to find a dispatch job of some kind. Or a job working the phones and dealing with customer issues, complaints, questions, giving answers, giving quotes, directing to proper people,ETC..

EDUCATION :

I have completed high school, gotten a BA in Business Management. And I am always signing up for advance education courses of some kind to keep sharp.

FINALLY :

I want to go back to work. I offer you an employee you can trust will get the job done. Be honest and go way over and above for the concern. I received a phone message from this gentleman.....at our church...i didnt return his call...but he left a very vulgar e mail message...

telling me his mother is sick & he need $75 to pay off his phone bill so he can go see his mom
