I just got a call from them at 10:28 PM.  Illegal as all heck.

So this # along with other telephone #'s, most generally cell phone #'s,  are connected with U Verse. I thought that from the very beginning.
So lucky you are to have connections. However, one of these days (all) of you are going to be found out. You only get away with doing wrongful things for a period of time. Hope you are found out real soon!!!Mich

Since it was a automated call - it didn't "wait for the beep" - so the beginning of the message is missing.

A recorded message that this is my final offer to have my credit card interest lowered under the Obama plan, press 1 to connect to  Customer Service.  I hung on (until the line went dead) to see if they provided an option to have my # removed from their database but there wasn't one.  If you call the # back, you get nothing....it doesn't connect.

We do have a large amount of unsecured debt as of recently (2010 - current) but ALL of our credit is good....  Just wanted to give a more clear picture as to who they may be targeting.  I wouldn't give them the time of day as I feel it is not legit either.  I won't do business with someone that solicits my business but rather I find them.  The only other place they could have got my information is from the internet, which generally, I am very careful as to who I provide my personal contact info to.  

These people call all the time or the other people out of North & South Carolina which when you try to call their # back it says it is a non working or a disconnected #.  (These people are usually foreign.)

Hope this helps someone and if anyone figures out how to 'stop" them, please post.

These people keep calling me every other week for over a year about a credit card problem. I have no credit card problems. I have never done business with them. This is a scam.  I want them to QUIT wasting my time.

They hung up on me when I told them I'm on the "Do not call" list.

Left no message.
