called about 20 times in 5 minutes....called while I was on the line with them to tell them to stop calling.  still calling even though when I told them to stop the rude woman said 'all you have to do is ask' and hung up on me.  going to try talking with them again....they are still calling and call waiting. crazy.

Yes,  this is a phishing scam.  the best you can do is report it to your state attorney general.

Just received the same message on 2/4/12.  Declined to respond. Seems too good to be true.

The message was from Jessica.  She said that I or someone inmy household had registered and won a vacation in Mexico........Well I didn't register, and I checked with my 3 dogs and 2 cats and they didn't either.....So  SCAM!!!!!!!!

Ridler, In answer to your question on how to stop these calls, I've made a decision not to answer out of state calls whose numbers I don't recognize for that very reason. I have limited minutes, and refuse to use them up on unknown callers. If they are legit, they will leave a message. I now check out the number on the web before deciding whether to return the call.

I got a phone call this number and they said I won a $1600 voucher for 4 for a trip to Cancun. When I was asked if I had a credit card I said no and they said I didn't qualify because I didn't have a credit card. I think this is a scam.

I got a call from this number also. When they tell you, you win a vacation at a resort, they ask if you have a credit card because it is required. When I said no I don't they said I didn't qualify for the vacation. I think it is a scam to get peoples creditcard information.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone saying I won a $1600 travel voucher for a Cancun resort. I never have entered any contest and certainly would never provide my cell number to anyone, since I pay for minutes.

That number: 630-869-6923 and another: 916-756-5008, plus others which I just deleted, seem to be alternating with different $1000 offers.

This just happened the recent couple weeks, which I believe they got my cell number from something that I applied for and was unable to complete the order.  It appeared that the order was not meant to be completed, but was a way for someone to get your number deceptively.

I need a way to put a stop to the calls because it uses up my minutes.

I am SOOO tired of this number calling me no matter how many times I've told them to remove me from their call list.  Please make it stop!!!

This number left a message on my voicemail today.  It claims I won an online giveaway for $1600 towards an all inclusive 7-day resort vacation for 4 people in an un-named 5 star eco-friendly resort in Cancun, Mexico.  The message required that I "press 1" to accept, so I guess the robo-dialer did not realize it was voicemail.

Got a call at 4:13 today. Didn't know the number so didn't answer. No msg left.

Got called around 1245 pm. Didnt answer. Dont know number or someone from illinois. Left no msg.
