I used my cell (mobile) phone to respond to craigslist advertisements while doing some price comparisons for a car for my wife. I never, and I mean NEVER got these unwanted interruptions
before that day. When my cellphone contract is run out I am going to go with a different provider
and see if someone else does anything to block these jerks. There is no excuse for the cell phone
companies not jumping on these violators with both feet and their teams of lawyers when they
know it's costing their customers minutes and hogging up wireless transponder circuitry on their
and our expense. Would someone please tell me what telemarketing really is other than a money
laundering scheme sanctioned by the gubmint? I know of NOBODY who appreciates that crap,
whether by landline, cell, non profit or otherwise. Those people are like an std. Touch the wrong number and you're infected. You can get rid of it sometimes but you never know when another breakout is coming.

I received this number on my cell phone.
It is a telemarketer who calls for multiple companies. They would not give me any information on who they actually were. If you call the number back you get the we won't call you again message but, it is bull.

Unempolyment number for June just came out. I was listening to the president's speech. Then, this number called in. Hopefully, the job market will get better, and no one will interrupt my schedule.

the messaging begins with "national dental association." The number is an Illinois number. NDA is out of Washington DC. I called NDA at their headquarters and they knew nothing about it... the gentleman told me that some company out there may be using the NDA name to gain some credibility. He actually asked that the next time I get a call from this number to hang on the line and see if I can gain any additional information about who they really are, because it would be fraudulent of a company to use their name without permission. Fortunately for me, this keeps happening at my desk phone at work and not on my cell phone. Sorry for those dealing with this inconvenience on your mobile devices.

My caller id says it's from illonois and the name is "Downers Grov" I don't know if that helps. It was a missed call for me.

10 minutes ago. I just got the call on my phone for the SAME phone number, but checked this website and see that I am on this telemarketing call sheet too.  I just DELETE it. I am geting about ONE call a day from area codes that I do not call. Must be nice to call people and bother the hell out of us all day long. Guess they cant get a REAL job.

I called this number back, and there was nothing but a message saying press one to be removed from our list.  I pressed one and they said my number would be erased within 72 hours.  This kind of stuff annoys the s out of me.  Who the f was that and how the f did they get my cell phone number?  I thought solicitation on cell phones was illegal.

They call my work phone all the time...Caller ID says Cell phone, but that's bogus....they just call and hang up.....

just received a call from above number.  seems to be dental promotion.  can't tell from where but if you re-dial it, it does give you an option to opt out of this number.  But how many times must I do this.  they will leave you alone for a while but starts all over again.
