I received a text message inquiring if I still had the item I had advertised on Craigslist. My ad specifically stated that I would not answer ANY text messages due to prior text message scam attempts. Anyone receiving a text message from this number should run away from it as fast as you can! This is a scam artist that should be locked away for good!

I got a text from this number inquiring about a car ad on craigslist. I was asked many questions including if I had a PayPal account, and where I lived. I answered each question. My answer to these two were... I live in the city stated in the ad, and "yes I have a PayPal account, but I don't give any personal info out because of scams so please don't even insult my intelligence by asking for any". I quickly got another text asking for my PayPal address. I believe it is a scammer using it trying to steal identities.
