I have been applying for jobs through Craigslist, it is the ONLY place that my number is given out to anyone that i do not know in person.... so, it is these crap companies putting up fake jobs to collect our information. So, I take all these numbers I get, like 631-220-6371, and I sign them up for everything I can find online. Free ringtones, daily horoscopes, things like that. I figure the longer they are getting incoming text messages the harder it will be for them to send out going ones. I like to collect all telemarketers and spam text numbers and just hand them out all over the internet... so soon all the scum bags will just be calling each other instead of the rest of us. I can't do it alone people!!! Just sign up the phone number for three different things and we can all make a difference.

I keep getting these calls and I have followed the steps to stop them but keep getting them. I WANT THEM TO STOP~~

Got another SPAM TEXT from these JERKS this morning from another new number--318-529-0965.   Same text for Loan-------SAME Money600.com, Filed complaint on Do Not Call Website--Didn't reply Stop because I believe it only confirms to them a valid number.

That is a very offensive message and it has called my 10 year old son and left text messages also.  This is uncalled for and I would appreciate it if you stop targeting little kids cell phones.  Not only that but no matter what color you are, you are still a human being with feelings and no one should have to be treated like that.  You should be ashamed of yourself!

I've been getting texts from Money600.com daily for the past week. Getting really annoying. The number changes every time.

This time, the number was 631-220-6371.

I text "stop" or whatever words they say will take you off their list, but they don't do it. I never subscribed to their list to begin with, so they are clearly breaking the law.

Calls come from same town or nearby town so they look authentic as if a friend or someone nearby is calling.  Unless you know, you would think maybe a local business that you have been to recently is trying to reach you like the cleaners, or a local repair shop. Then if you answer, you get a message saying they are trying connect YOUR call.  Of course you didn't call anyone.  They called you, but once you answer the call it is likely being redirected who know where.

I have been getting these too.  When I checked the no call registry the answer I got was that it does not apply to text messages.  Nice legislation from our congressmen and senators.  I am planning to write my representatives to ask them to add no text to the legislation.  This is annoying.

I got two text messages from this company today. Since I have a private office line, I called one of the numbers left on the text message, 877-399-7803. Apparently, they got my cell phone number from an online site (homerewardsplus.com) they say I came across at some point. Raul Assasin (the foreign guy I spoke to on the phone) said I entered my phone number for an online giveaway. I have never entered my cell number for anything so I know this is not true. He said that I will receive a free gift in the mail, $200 shopping voucher, $50 Target gift card, and $20 Walmart gift card. However, I must pay a small $7 fee for shipping so he asked for a credit card number. Who would give some guy named Raul Assasin a valid credit card number? I feel sorry for the poor people they do scam. This needs to be stopped, especially considering I received several phone calls yesterday and now these text messages. I don't know who to contact about this scam but I do intend to call the phone number they left on my cell phone every time they call me. Give them a taste of their own medicine.

I also have received many calls over the past 24 hours from this very same number. I am getting messages stating I owe $1,500. I've tried repeatedly to call but the recorded message says to leave a message, next that message box is full. It just continues. It is a terrible nuisance and is costing me minutes on my service. I researched the number on reverse phone number on 411.com and it indicates this is a cell number from Omnipont Commuications, and from Brentwood NY. I googled that and their number is 973-305-9684. I plan to call that company now and complain! Hopefully, this will end the nightmare!

I received a text message on my verizon wireless cell phone advertising jobs for secret shoppers.  I called verizon and they refused to do anything about it other than block my text messaging service.  DUH
I found the FCC website by google-ing "text message spam"
If they get enough fines, maybe they will quit.

I was dumb enough to text them back to stop and then I received a hole slew of SMS's after that.  I learned that when you respond to them asking them to remove you (this goes for emails too), they actually will send you more because you've just told them this is an active number / email address.  Whatever you do, don't text/email them back saying not to write back!

I am actually going to call the Suffolk county police department as well. This phone number originates from Brentwood, NY.

I have received numerous texts from this area code.  Every time I get one I reply stop but then I get another one from a different number with the same area code.  So even though you reply stop they just use a different number and keep sending messages.  This is b***s*** and has to stop now!!!

I just received a text from this number directing me to www.PAY600.com.  Before this I've received 3-4 others from different numbers about prizes and other loan opportunities.  Somebody must have sold our phone numbers.  I don't recall putting it on any recent sites. WTF?!?!?

hi i think these people are losing there mines! i got three text messages from the same number this week and i replyed and said stop sending me text messages. They will still your money if you want proof call them the first time then call them again they left a voice message saying im going to still your money and alot of bad words were in the voice message so yea dont trust them. I also received two text messages from this same number just this week.  I actually have the police doing an investigation.  This was the most offensive message I have ever encountered.  The fact that people can just send out messages like this over the phone is crazy!

I received the same text.  The dial back response message was apparently what you received.  Someone definitely needs to shut them down.

I had several UNWANTED texts on my cell. The dial back response message is the most offensive, off color recording which threatens to STEAL money and sell information to others. The "N" word is used many times. Someone needs to shut these operators down.
