An attorney called me and said his name and the name of the firm and said he had information he to verify if it belonged to me.  So, he continued by asking for the last four digits of my social security number and my address.  I told him I don't give out my personal information over the phone regardless of what he needed to verify.  After that, he hung up!  REALLY, DUDE! : /

Watch out for these guys.  They don't play by the rules and you may already have court papers filed against you that you don't know about.  I recommend going to your County Clerk's office and checking on your own public records every so often.

Have been getting calls from 631-234-1500 for past two months but have never had a message left.  Tonight I picked up the call and it was someone asking for me claiming to be with the law firm Rubin and Rothman.  I told him that they had filed a summons and complaint but never responded to my response.......filed almost a year ago.  He said he was calling to work out a "deal" for Chase although the court paperwork was for Midland Financing who I never heard of.  He then asked for my full name, address, date of birth and last four digits of my social security number.  When I responded with "if you are who you say your are, you already have that information..." he hung up on me.  Who are these people????? By the way, the affidavit of service was made on someone I never heard of.  Had I not gotten a copy via snail mail sent thirty days after the supposed service, I never would have known about the court documents at all.

Just got a call from them.  Don't know why.

Rec'd a call from them this evening. Would provide no info. So here is what you do to stop these people from calling.

This place has been calling my number, that Ive had for 7 years telling me that it belongs to someone that they are attempting to collect a debt from.  I have never heard of the person they are looking for.  They also said my number was listed under his name which is a total lie, it is listed under my name!!!  My number is a Vonage number and is UNLISTED, so I know that its a lie! I told them that if they call again I am going to call the police and report them for harassment, and they said "its only a phone call."  I think this place is a front for a scam.....anyone else think this?

4 years now they called, if you dont pay them off fast, they will put a lien on your house!, car and what ever they can get they are rude! and aggressive to the point they will go after your wages and put a block your bank account....

My ex moved out of the country and they are even going after her in Canada, they can in any country that has treaties with the U.S and they can force that country to garnish your wages!

My advice, dont get that far in debt you can get out.....

They call me and try to get my social security number, and when I ask who are they they said Seymor Lawyer office and when inquirid for more information they answered me bad,.  and I said bad word back, I said F.............your M.........................er,            And them Hang off  the call.

They have been calling me stating that I owe Capital One $1800 and that the account was now given to them and they want a 1/3 now and how much can I pay every month
